I feel like if you unfried all the "that is the most important question" preference training and added long term memory LLM's (4.6 or better) would be much more interesting to talk to than 99% of people.

I've been working on a simple OCR-Programm to make an easy use for Kraken OCR which is specialized in cursiv/fraktur/kurrent/sütterlin writing and handwriting

but it was a bitch to get it to run properly...kraken surely doesn't natively want to be run in a programm...
>>
The moment you realise you need an intervention is when you install 3 separate containers on your server to OCR a single page of a webcomic, then uninstall all 3 afterwards because while 90% of what you did was successful, you forgot to check and see if the data you got out was going to be easy to export.
In a years time, I will no doubt configure them again, installing another 4 containers on top, just to automate the export process.

A lot of people not on these things seem to think a good ratio is meaningful. A good ratio is literally the bare minimum on private trackers. Most of them will disable your account if you don't have one.
>>
Can somebody in Animebytes check to see if they have a complete Blu ray rip for Mobile Fighter G Gundam, including the extras, and if so if it's the JP or ENG BD set or both?

Screenshotting the releases and their descriptions for me would be extra nice

I'd check myself but my account was suspended for inactivity and I don't have time to wait 18 hours in the IRC to get it restored right now
>>

Maybe I just don't know shit about vtubers (because I don't) but what do they do that requires a private tracker?

Aren't they just streamers and youtubers? What do they have people need to share around online other then maybe reuploads of streams, and why would that require the secrecy of a PT?

Dumb people are going to be dumb.

I have an acquaintance who I've gotten into two AI arguments with. She's a firm anti AI person, despite never having used it. She tried to tell me how AI works, even though I've literally made machine learning programs before, and also tried to tell me that it's "SLAVE LABOR!" But in the same breath she also says "AI is just a word guesser."

I kept trying to calmly explain to her how AI actually works, but she called me a "techno machine God worshipper". I left after that.

Dumb people are going to be dumb.

It's really too bad everyone has an equal voice on the internet. It gives these dumbasses way too much weight.

>The "word guesser" part is better understood as the keyboard the AI has to interact with us. It is entirely optional; it does not need this to comprehend information. Just think of it like this: if you had a "neural link" to your computer, you could disconnect the keyboard and mouse and still use it.
Current AI (mostly LLMs) does not "think" unless prompted, so this is completely wrong.

https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/climate-energy/renewable-energy-remains-cheapest-power-builds-new-gas-plants-get-pricier-2025-06-16/
"The cost to build new gas-fired power plants, meanwhile, has hit a 10-year high amidst the country's record electricity use and growing backlogs for turbines and other equipment needed to construct the plants, Lazard, a global financial services firm, said "

Now. Are you going to pretend that extracting, refining, and pumping natural gas is going to be cheaper than 'just letting the wind blow'?
How about 'just existing the sun'? Is that cheaper than extracting, refining, and pumping gas?

What about projected costs to run, over 5 years? 10?

Wired is always better. I have a razer wolverine that has worked well for years. I do have an 8bitdo snes controller that I use for my ipad but I don't see a need to use it on my pc.
>>
Gamesir Cyclone 2's often $25-40 and is a no-brainer in that price range.
8Bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless is also good if you're a dinput+steam input enjoyer and want extra shoulder buttons.
Bigbig Won Rainbow 3 has four extra buttons and a Dualsense Edge input mode that also lets you map them all freely with Steam or DS4Windows.

For non-power users, the newer budget (<$30) releases from Gamesir, 8Bitdo, Bigbig Won, and Gulikit are all good too.

Third party symmetrical layout is still cursed unless you just want something budget (Tegenaria Lite), best off waiting till next year for the Steam Controller 2 and Gulikit TT Pro.

Okay

I have an ancient toaster that's 15 years old now. I can do some web browsing but stuff like YouTube struggles. I can watch 480p on YouTube. Anyway, someone please tell me what kind of videos I should download for watching movies.

1080p anything is no go most of the time. I can handle some 720p videos if they are like divx. Divx movies play well for me. Other than divx, what else? A lot of mkv videos make my computer shit itself and struggle to not crash. Nevermind watching it

doesn't fix the core issue and isn't required on such hardware.
if he's struggling with 480p playback on a browser you aren't getting 720p60 and beyond by just switching to a media player, and he'd still be using his whole cpu to do that while his perfectly fine h264 hardware decoder (which can do 1080p60 no problem) is sitting idle, very half assed pointless workaround.
what a retarded excuse to shill your shitware, kys.
>>
>>107614150
>while his perfectly fine h264 hardware decoder (which can do 1080p60 no problem) is sitting idle
media players do hardware decode better than web browsers
and youtube on web browser defaults to av1 which is the reason why it struggles with 480p software decoding
you seem like a low iq brainlet who can't even formulate a consistent argument and having your first half of your post conflicting with the second half
>>
>>107614492
>media players do hardware decode better than web browsers
No, you need to enable hardware acceleration and https://github.com/erkserkserks/h264ify (literally what mpv and trannytube does)
mpv streaming support is shit, it's only good for local playback. ikatroon, you know this shit too, but won't mention it because it's another reason to NOT use your closed source botnet discord trannyware.
