What if I want to upload it to this general so I can spite alternative LMArena Bridge scripts which aren't fully patched and are very hard to configure for locusts and make their devs lives more miserable?
>>107669933
Just remind them they're a 35 year old NEET with daddy issues if that's the "locusts are dying" poster.

There is still a very small chance that it'll get fixed. Probably with vibe coding or something, or god forbid an anon who can actually code. Just leave it for /chag/.

None.
All programming language uses English words that never make sense.

Local
Client-Function
IF
END

Client:Run

Imagine talking with other person screaming that words in this order.
>>
>>107669434
braces are for tables
>>
>>107658714
If we're talking purely on the merits of the syntax structure, Lisp. Doesn't get more elegant. But if we're accounting for performance ceiling as well, I want to say Nim. It's a niche language, but not rightfully so.
>>
>>107667777
Matlab and Fortran both use 1 based indexing, and they're rather popular. It's the logical way to do it, for math and science in particular. 0 based is an aberration and only existing due to implementation details.
>>
>>107669460
Yes, in your silly little language.

Are these things even worth it anymore? I have the original 8GB pic related. Now the 16GB is almost $170 and the HAT is pretty useless though its done a 2x street price since launch. I could get a lattepanda or something. I like the idea of a Pi5 16GB: enough memory and processor to run better/larger LLMs off 2.5W at ~1 token/sec. Even a solar battery. It's cool to have a philosopher in a box like that. The tinker side GPIO and stuff doesn't interest me for personal projects. Anyway should I just get a Jetson Nano or N150 or something.

>>
>>107660366
I don't want to hate AI, but the sheer amount of it thats just awful dogshit fucking slop makes it impossible to actually like AI at all.

>endless oceans of no effort slop flooding the internet weighing down every fucking website to exhaustion
>every single image search is filled with AI trash that looks awful
>dead inside AI voices narrating garbage AI footage
>AI generated clip compilations of the same clips reposted endlessly
>Every single social media platform has been irreversibly flooded with bots convincing enough to convince the average idiot to do whatever the schizo pushing the bots wants them to do
>bots flooding every trend, every popular post to the point that no human interractions can even be seen
>sadpanda flooded with AI generated slop, still have to type -"ai generated" manually for some reason

Seriously fuck it all, I miss the pre-AI internet more than I ever thought I would

>>
>>107669223
You can think of hypothetical technologies that don't exist now and may never will, that don't have any possible complaints about training data, and I'm sure some would complain about those too. Human level AI that's functionally identical to the way a human works, just orders of magnitude faster? Brain chip that gives anyone instant ability? Both could make the amount of competition much worse and better quality than exists now and some subset of people would complain about that.

I bought a refurbished acer laptop off ebay. It has windows 11 on and it required me to make an account to start. Okay fine. A couple days later I'm getting emails that my account has had unauthorized access multiple times and even my linkedin was accessed. They completely locked me out of my account. Fucking pajeet bastards. Coincidence or I'm thinking the gained access because of the new laptop? I don't even like windows 11, should I just install a new windows 10 on it? Not sure what to do.

I never used that account before or after except on that laptop. Not sure how they got into my linkedin but I did get an email that there was some changes in association with that account to the new microsoft account. Maybe that was completely unrelated

I would like a decent ARM laptop that I'm not forced to run Mac OS or worse Windows on. These manufacturers don't seem to give a shit about Linux. People in general didn't give Windows on ARM a warm reception. So I just stick with x64. I am happy with my Huawei laptop. That doesn't mean I don't want something better but it needs to be actually compelling.

Add to the Mac burger that if you don't want onion, too bad. And that if the lettuce falls off 2 bites into eating it, you'd better hope you bought the BurgerCare plan. You can try to put it back yourself but you'll likely brick your burger and it'll void the warranty.

I think I may have figured out how to fraudently pass off AVIF images as video inside a WEBM container.

ffmpeg -i 1.avif -c:v copy 1.webm & ffmpeg -i 2.avif -c:v copy 2.webm
ffmpeg -i 3.avif -c:v copy 3.webm & ffmpeg -i 4.avif -c:v copy 4.webm & ffmpeg -i 5.avif -c:v copy 5.webm
(echo file '1.webm' & echo file '2.webm' & echo file '3.webm' & echo file '4.webm' & echo file '5.webm') > filelist.txt
ffmpeg -f concat -safe 0 -i filelist.txt -c copy 12345.webm

5 pack of AVIF images (125 KB): https://files.catbox.moe/ei4qf6.zip
those 5 AVIF images converted to a fraudulent (but playable) WEBM (124 KB): https://files.catbox.moe/5r19yu.webm

There's 1 problem though, I have no idea how to reverse this process.

this isn't a fraud or exploit or hack you dipshit it's a design consequence of avif as a filetype that the stream is bitexact identical to an av1 keyframe containing the same rgb data.

I just meant theres not a whole lot that is different yeah the ui may seem different and they're moved some shit around, but the basic stuff is still there.

yeah theres features and bullshit you will likely never use. more bloat and telemetry, but can be turned off or circumvented.
>>
>>107669767
from what I read of OP and etc, stick to Win11 24 IoT Enterprise LTSC?
nothing really needed in the non-LTSC fuckery that is 25h2 business or enterprise? bc OP says "forced to download updates/etc" but cant you turn that shit off if you have the tools (WinUtil or Wintoys?)
>>
>>107669785
>stick to Win11 24 IoT Enterprise LTSC?
I would assume thats correct.
I was learning about win10 differences last september, went with win 10 enterprise ltsc iot and have ignored the shit they are doing with win 11.
so I can't be sure about that.

but it was the same for me when I jumped from win 7 to win10
essentially all the same shit, run updates, install all my needed progs and get things sorted and adjusted to my personal prefs, turned off remote desktop stuff.
>>
>>107669808
I might as well go Win11 bc of new build so I dont get fucked by Chromium related apps (fuck you embedded Chrome!) and also driver support for my 5070 Ti

Ill install a cracked StartisBack I think after I work out the kinks

gonna use my laptop as testbed, wish me luck, I imagine it doesnt use the October 2025 build so I should be able to OOBE or cmd -- otherwise I also saved the JavaScript dev cmd method if somehow my laptop has October/Dec 2025 Win11 that patched out the usual bypass

cheers, thanks everyone for the links, god bless massgrave
