https://torrentfreak.com/game-pirates-beat-denuvo-with-hypervisor-bypasses-irdeto-promises-countermeasure/

Every single game with Denuvo has been bypassed
Bypass is available for all denuvo games on day 0

Irdeto is seething hard and saying more invasive DRM is coming. I'm guessing they will demand kernel level access in later versions of Denuvo.

Will Microsoft allow them that?

why are zoomies so scared about bare metal access, why do they need a hundred layers of abstraction + security and policy mechanisms over everything?
they'd get a panic attack over int16h or poke commands

stop releasing the same old OS, giving it a paintjob and calling it new.

99.99% of the complexity of yt-dip is overcoming anti-downloading measures that YouTube constantly updates against them. Why do you think it has js shit in it? For fun? It's because they have to literally run blackbox Google JavaScript to generate challenge responses in order to access the good quality download versions. You'd better hope they manage to get SABR working before Google forces that too.

Is there such a thing as a ethernet port tester?
there's a house where there's a bunch of ethernet ports in the modem/router room but they're unmarked, so idk which connect to where.

If there was a device I could plug into a port in a room, then swap through the modem room plugs and it pings me when both ends are connected...
I did this with 2 laptops before but it was a chore and very slow
>>
>>108514605
yes, they're very easy to make and I made one in my EE class (soldering practice class). they're two boxes, one with a 9v battery and it tests the pairs and lights up
>>
>>108514605
If you search for 'ethernet cable tester' they should come right up anywhere. Just connect a piece of cable to each end and it becomes a wall port tester. Should be available any place that sells network gear or home improvement stuff.

There are A LOT of open hardware SBCs still super cheap. God damn I hate these baiting youtubers.

Alright. have fun. I didn't make the house clean for company or anything, Just sort of threw it all in there not including pre-made libraries and empty files.
just try to keep it relevant to the issue at hand. I know I'm not doing everything perfectly.
>>
>>108514659
Your mesh SetTexture function takes a texture and not a texture pointer
When you pass a texture into it that texture is being copied every time
That's the only potential issue I can see
>>
>>108514715
I saw that too. I took care of it by having the default constructor not do anything related to OpenGL. If the blank texture isn't already made, it'll create it.
Commenting out the line in Character.cpp that sets the texture to the model doesn't change anything.

let me know if you find anything else.
>>
>>108514732
try using RenderDoc and you can see every OpenGL command issued and every resource allocated
>>
>>108514749
I got it installed, but I can't really figure out how it's supposed to work.
but also for some reason, when I launch through it, the program just doesn't do the crash.

Why isn't it a ball joint?
10 replies omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>108510985
the ball is evil and will destroy your wrist
>>
>>108510985
a vacuum would require a hose smaller than the ball in the joint so the ball joint would be pretty big compared to two normal hinges carrying a hose which would still offer the necessary two degrees of freedom. if you need a third axis a flexible hose in a bearing is still better than stuffing a hose in a big ball (for a vacuum you dont need true 360 deg freedom along the shaft but even then you can seal bearings to be air tight enough pretty trivially in terms of design, though the cost might be a little high for a shitty domestic vacuum)

and it looks double hinged to me so its probably fine to use as is but still saves weight and is relatively easy to assemble and marginally serviceable once delivered to the consoomer so im not really seeing an issue with the device in the op

yet again software "engineers" prove that they are not good at engineering, let alone even understand the physical world around them at all
>>
>>108513995

>>
>>108513995
How do you know this person identifies as a man?
>>
>>108510985
Because with a balljoint it would be impossible to keep an open airpath for significant range of rotation. So you use multiple 1D rotations in line.

you don't even need to do any of that to achieve the effect of raking a bunch of leaves, dumping the pile on a car or a porch, and then using a mildly powerful fan to immediately blow them back off
It will not work nearly as well on real shit that has been rained on and actually stuck

The one in which sweeping complexity under the rug doesn't actually reduce complexity.
>>
>>108507474
yes I was mostly talking about idiomatic code in those languages, I know go is a bit more transparent about how your memory is actually used (by allowing pointers) and in the last decade I know C# has added much more control and tools to handle how things are actually allocated, but:

a) almost no one takes advantage of these things
b) the added complexity just makes me think why bother? just use C/C++

>while most C++/Rust programmers mess this up, leading to up to 10x slowdowns
I agree, especially in Rust code that I've seen this is a big mess.

Found this old thing in a room at work along with other shit from the 90's. Took it home and cleaned it up. Has a fantastic feel to it, good solid keyboard with some weight to it. Feels like I could kill someone with it. The keys are fantastic as well, feels like I'm back in the public library I used to frequent when I was like 6 or 7.

Do you have to buy chinkshit PS/2 to USB adapters, or do better solutions exist nowadays?

do people like authenticator apps?

i broke my phone and got locked out of my bank, steam, post office and other things.
everysingle one needed an authenticator or some app i didn't have access to anymore.

i had to take out my sim and plug it into another phone to end up using the sms verification stuff, if i didn't have another phone, i'd be screwed.

do people enjoy this? like are jobs made solely for this so they won't go away?
I'm honestly so lost why things need to be so complex now, where just not having a single device causes so many issues
