Do you ever treat your codebase like a place you can go to seek refuge from the world?

Like maybe you're fond of the form validation, or index search of your application, so you go read the code and tinker around with it - or even just think about it - because it's feels comfy?
>>
>>107662646
Yeah, like 10 years ago, before I grew up and realized all of that is so far removed from the only thing that matters - the value it provides to the user.

Reminder: AI shills are jeets.
>>
>>107660860
>>107660480
People need to realise that AI isn’t a tool just as some contractor on fiver is a tool. It sucks as a tool because it just does not follow your instructions as well as normal piece of code. However it is good at doing tasks independently. If you think it’s just a tool because you use it for “just making thumbnails” then you are too blind to see the whole picture. The thumbnail was probably not fully under your control, and if you spend multiple minutes refining the prompt to get better image or just telling nano banana to do your instructions you are wasting time, nobody will be able to tell. Basically what I am trying to say is that if any AI software existed on its own in the world it wouldn’t be an issue because it would still need a human behind it, however we live in a world where you can easily make slop generators bots that just pick random words, then run them through LLMs and finally use them to prompt the video/music/image generators. People who work hard to master the art of promoting are completely delusional losers, and the only real winners here are seething antis who gather audience of fellow antis, and then the guys running pure mindless slop farms as passive income and getting lucky. And this in general will reflect the future in rest of job sectors, you either secure income in places where people are willing to pay for you just being a human, or you get replaced by AI agent, prompters are temporary job title and there have been many instances of people helping train their replacement by using said AI systems.

They don't need to, when most innovating countries seek cheap labor in China.

If one wants to keep their innovation, one needs to keep all labor in its own country. Don't cry if your profit-maxxin doesn't pan out the way you thought.

I regret selling 0days to my gov, I was naive and young, got an internship at a VR company and just got caught in the system.
I got ground to a pulp and shat out the other end with a conscience.
I wish I learned how to actually build things instead of breaking them.
I think about the people I indirectly hurt everyday.
Don't make the mistake I made, take your skills and actually help people.

Working for the system is not intrinsically evil. In my particular case I work in a blue team and I am proud of protecting people.

You need a redemption arc. It's hard work, but some people have pulled it off in the past without the inconvenient optional step of dying.

Best success to you.

There are only two reasons:
1 - you rely on software such as the adobe environment to work
2 - you really, really like games that have kernel level anti-chat (aka spyware) and are absolutely unwilling to stop playing them

>Our North Star is ‘1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code.’ To accomplish this previously unimaginable task, we’ve built a powerful code processing infrastructure. Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”

I hate discord, got that from civit, he uploaded a whole bunch there, they all look great. Here is me replicating it with just his prompt, seems pretty stable you get 4 panels every now and then but most are good. Anyway, as I said this model is dead cause of just bad timing with Z not quality, especially considering the gen speed between the two (this is slow AF). My wish is these guys give it another go when Z-base releases, they got potential.

simply bad design.
"choose that which is unlike the others" is a simple puzzle, more or less what people are accustomed to for captchas. fine. 1/3 of puzzle being different and unintuitive is bad. you shouldnt have to read anything, and especially not a wordy meandering sentence requiring bolded emphasis to figure out what to do
