The thing I'm working on has been done before and there's no reason for why the world needs another shitty implementation of an old outdated technology. But I take pride and joy in doing in from scratch for myself. For the satisfaction to be able to say I did this, and as a learning experience. And because my teenage self would have wanted to do this back when, but I was too dumb then.

is there a recommended way to create images on flowith? i found hailou pretty good at keeping large number of images organized. it shows an automatically scrolling list on the right hand side, flowith otoh seems to be just one big canvas (i created a new project for images and put my prompts there), which quickly seems to get convoluted

What's so special about Arch? Why does it get memed on so hard? People say it has bleeding edge packages but why is that so important? Is it better for gaming or something? What makes it different from Mint?

its not its just a 'do it yourself' distro in terms of the desktop and all the shit you run vs others where they prepackage everything
>>
>>107721264
The AUR is not as "malware infested" as you like to claim to be and PKGBUILDS are easy to verify especially with an AUR helper. Also the essential thing with Arch is user responsibility. Not like you understand it because you're just a Windows user larping as a Linux user
>>
Anti-Arch shills are IBM jeets demoralizing users to switch to Fedora so that IBM can consolidate control over Linux. Never forget this

I cant find a specification for the client side of the BitTorrent protocol, please help. If someone knows a good BitTorrent client with a python API then let me know. I'm trying to build a python package for downloading PDFs from annas archives.

unironically just ask ai to point you at protocol specs, it will nudge you to the relevant ones and even notify you about undocumented shit.
For example, while I was testing my DNS resolver I didnt understand why single packet multiple domain resolution request wasn't working, turns out all online DNS servers either discard entire packet or anything after 1st domain to prevent DOS attempts

Yes. Pick your poison.
IMO figuring out how to use linux is worthwhile because Windows is clearly only going to get worse. After windows 7, everyone hated 8, then everyone hated 10 and for years 7 kept up market share until microsoft "killed" it like ten times over until finally people stopped using it, now the same thing is happening with 11. You can babyduck forever and then when windows 12 rolls around you will be saying 11 is "good enough" and you don't want to leave it, etc. ad infinitum, or you can deal with the jank that is linux. There is no actually good OS left out there
>>
>>107723462
well shit I thought its compatible, thanks

Linus may suck ass, but Steam OS doesn't and it'll be in millions of systems (counting steam decks ofc). It's improvements to the whole Linux ecosystem cannot be undestated. M$ is afraid for a good reason.

I don't mean mere LLM whoerely respond to your textual input and become bloated and slower as time goes by.
I mean an actual AI that would resemble a human being, being able to contantly sense the outside world, and respond to it accordingly.
That has long term data storage, and isn't always trapped in RAM.
Something that has an architecture like this:

[ Sensors / Inputs ]
(audio, vision, telemetry, events, timers)

[ Perception Modules ]
(speech-to-text, vision, signal processing)

[ Event / Salience Detector ]
(what matters right now?)

[ World State Model ]

>/g/ makes a 19th album
Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

What are some memorable experiences you had regarding tech in school? I’ll start
>switch n and m keys on a keyboard in keyboarding class
>sperg kid sits there, looks down at the keyboard and almost immediately begins flipping out
>ancient teacher and tard wrangler lumber over to inspect
>they murmur together for a moment
>teacher says the keyboard must be defective, unplugs it, and throws it away
>waddles off to get a new keyboard from a supply closet
>mfw
Also, later that year
>write Visual Basic scrip that causes the CD tray to continuously open and close
>runs as a background process, and task manager was disabled on school PCs, so it’d keep going til you rebooted
>I am le 1337 haxx0r
>put file on a flash drive, bring it to school
>copy file to the desktop
>realize that it’d be funnier to make people cause it to happen, rather than automatically running
