Light themes are objectively superior to dark themes, why do so many people still choose dark?

iPads seems to have a more streamlined software where everything is cohesive.Samsung's software is all over the place with 10 different fonts for the home screen. That being said Samsung ad blocker is the best I have ever seen. It even blocks ads on apps like YouTube and TikTok.
