when it comes to it how do you "prove" that model was trained on particular data
Generally, you don't have to. The DMCA operates on a more likely than not standard of evidence.

Lets compare other UIs you've tried, unless your all boomers stuck in your ways.https://github.com/kwaroran/RisuAIRisu is okay. I tried it cos it supported the charx format had multiple expression packs and auto replaced expression.png with the correct image in the pack. Nicer UI but less customization options. It lost my message on refresh tho, silly would never do that.https://github.com/vegu-ai/talemateChoose your own adventure style, uses agent style step by step actions, at 15 tk/s felt like ages to get to my turn. It has a mini auto generated memory didn't use it long enough enough to make use of it. Wasn't a big fan of of the style personally.
>>107847698>at 15 tk/s felt like ages to get to my turnThat's the problem with agents. Anyone serious enough about llms already has a multigpu rig with shit t/s and will absolutely refuse to use small models. Those who aren't serious wouldn't bother with agents anyway
My boss gave me an IBM 01EJ598 (1.92TB enterprise SAS 12Gb/s read-intensive SSD in the full Storwize V5000 hot-swap tray) for free because they were decommissioning old storage gear. Can I get some use out of it for shit like hosting movies / seeding or it's basically a fancy paperweight?t. only have a have a normal consumer desktop. I don't have a server, SAS controller, etc, etc... that is apparently required to run this.
>>107847577>SASit's fucked mateyou need a special motherboard to do anything with SAS. You can go on amazon and buy a USB "enclosure" for it for 100 bucks.

Find a cheap SAS HBA second hand. It's a card that goes in your PC. Your boss might have an old one one stashed somewhere, they're pretty common.
>>107847598>USB "enclosure" for it for 100 bucksfor $100, may as well score one with expansion room

>>107847520I'd say we're honestly pretty close, there have been test implants that have successfully had people control robotic arms and legs through pure thought as if they were their own limbs. Elon says his plan is to have humanity exploring space and meet alien civilizationsis this technologically achievable?
>>107847724South Africa won't even allow Starlinkthat should tell you all you need to know about how highly this charlatan is regarded back home
>>107847329I just hope they're friendly. On a related thought, I've always though it is kind of interesting how we romanticize war with aliens. Most depictions of it are like Halo with laser and plasma guns used to fight us, but in reality, I have a feeling chemical weapons would be used. There would be no need to send a heavy invasion fleet to risk causalities if you could just gas a planet or go about terraforming quickly. Remember, there are no war crimes in space anon.

Why do people like Irfanview? I've always found it horribly ugly and not particularly nice to use. It does have some great features for listing metadata I want to see, though.
>>107847239From what I gather, the magic is in the UI. Unless there is some neat tagging/formatting feature or it integrates with databases a certain way, I'm at a loss too. It may be an ease of reference to display thing. But that goes back to the UI. Licensing?
>>107845962I agree Nomacs rocks, but I use Feh now because its lighter and Grok helped me configure Feh to copy to clipboard, open with GIMP and pane better. Also Windows 98 with NOMACS, wow! What version of Nomacs is that? I can't imagine the latest version working on 98
>>107845962Nomacs is simply too slow as an image viewer. Irfanview has more features and is instant. Feh would be perfect but dev seem to be unwilling to develop it further for whatever reason.

Linux is starting to "just werk" more than windows. The OOB experience of windows is awful these days.
>>107847676Plasma 5 came before Windows 10, so really Windows has been trying and failing to look like Linux for the past decade not the other way around.
>>107847486>Linux is starting to "just werk" more than windows. It has been like that at least since 2010 (ubuntu before going retarded, mint afterward). The problem are the retards trying to do and run exactly the same software as windows that obviously doesn't work properly. For games steam did a lot to improve proton-wine but for some reason they keep breaking their own software (things like Armed Assault stops working for months after an update).
>>107847486Ubuntu has "just worked" better than Windows since its first release in 2004. Now Ubuntu is starting to get dumbed down and lose features. I used Pop! OS for a while and might switch back.

Hello Linux Questions folksChris has installed linux onto my computer and I do not like how it looks..I need it to look like my windows 7 I had before as this new setup is too confusing and unfamiliar....I liked the windows menu as I found it very convenient helpful and familiar. I miss the look the computer used to have with the bright colors and nice sounds ,as this one is too dark and depresses my mood.I am also having troible finding my programs...I liked the programs I used and cannot figuee out how to get them back. I cannot ask Chris since he is too busy to come visit . Thank you to any kind folks who know how to help!James.
>>107846726should've paid him, he would've installed mint
>>107846747Thank you my apologies for a late response ... I found " System Info" and here is what it says... Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon the version is 6.0.4 .. I have also found themes i can change this to white and it is better but I still miss the colors and the look of my windows 7.Do you know how to get it back?
You have to learn from the pros James and no one is ever too old to learn! Take estrogen and hang out with the magical girls in the desktop threads.https://boards.4chan.org/g/catalog#s=desktop%20threadBut seriously look for Aero themes for Cinnamon on https://www.gnome-look.org/

Looking forward to hearing more about your linux adventure, Jasmine.- Emmanuelle
