gemma 4 is the shit>>108513476to answer your question from the other night ("what model do you use" "i meant llm") i WAS using qwen35 since it came out pretty much but today i got lost with gemma-4 (31b) and now i'm going to be using gemma-4both are great tho, gemma just seems a bit more.. lively, although i havent really tested how it does with my prompts, just a big ol' chat i had earlier lelpic related has the prompt processed by gemma4
>>108513692and this is with the 'system prompt' i made with qwen35 for qwen35 which was mostly working well. i havent parsed it with gemma to optimize. good thing i have a 3 day weekendthe one thing, i think gemma is a bit of a prude, although very keen on using slang and knows all kind of dirty things, she just keeps above it til she push a bit. qwen's a big slut on the other hand. take that as you willi mean even in these gens you can see chromagirl's not as... "3x moar coomable lately" as the anon put it the other day as she is with qwen35
>>108513692>gemma 4 is the shitoh yeah? I haven't heard anyone review it yet. how are you using it?
>>108513720llama.cpp, loading q8 (or q6-k-l ) to process teh populated wildcard prompt, then feed it to zitthe tests i've made (chat, image description/captioning) are mostly good, it needs a bit of a push to get nsfw right, but it does get it right. qwen's the same, they both need system messages to convince them to be "clinical" but also descriptive (and allowed to use slang) so no real issues with denial so far. i dont do ERP or story-writing/playing so i dont know about how it performs there. i think for captioning and prompt processing it's looking no par if not better than qwen35 (but again, qwen35 is definitely sluttier results).gemma just seems.. less prone to crazy which is both a good and a bad thing lel, but even so it appears to be slightly more "accurate" in the descriptions
/lmg/'s having a ball with gemma4 lel2 threads gone to ~700 posts, i cant keep up

Does anyone know any good linux/tech privacy or privacy-adjacent forums? I think stuff like that is the best way to stay informed (word of mouth) especially with stuff going on right now...I used to be pretty active on SizeofCat Cafe but that got obliterated a few months ago, but I liked what they had going on there, lots of smart individuals there.

Anons I'm a little retarded. Can someone break down practically what the leak really means for us the people? From my understanding we have the source code to only the cli. The cli essentially just being safe guards against naughty things. 7 different "please dont say nigger" and "please don't tell the user how to make a bomb" reinforcement checks. And we see the reporting used by searching for message keywords. But we can't hook up the cli, remove the checks on our end and have a now unfiltered Claude. What tangible thing do we have that we and not a competitor get from this? Is there a way to use the cli to get better RAG use for context? What is it they I, a mid to high level script kiddie can do with this. Or how far along are projects using this to hopefully deconstruct Claude into a usable open source application?
>>108512118Almost everything in it was super boilerplate and simple. Literal plain text instructions to the system. Standard user feedback. There wasnt anything malicious I saw.
>>108510770literally nothing. it wont help you to make anything, the model is the secret sauce not a cli that sends a prompt to cloud
>>108512316This is what i assumed. Though the interface could be nice. Is there nothing for context management in it though? All llms are stateless so its their tools that manage the context. Is it all done on the cloud with no mechanism in the code? Seems really inefficient.

We need to go back to cases like this.Handle, built in tool box, hot swap bay, no gaymer see through panels. I've wanted a case with at least 4 external 5.25's and it drives me crazy that basically all that's left is like one NAS case that's said to be built like shit and costs $300

>>108513600think of it as conservative sdr static brightness with hdr highlights, that is kind of how I set it in games.best of both worldsmost hdr uncalibrated will just boost the brightness of everything blowing out the mid tones because that is what devs think that normies want.and an overblown image will cause the retarded and distracting panel dimming that you are probably referring to.

>>108513563Shaders are compiled for your system setup. That is why Intel's method of hosting precom shaders on a server needs to have so many versions to account for all possible combinations of hardware. There is no concrete argument to say that precompiles are the best way forward. What I was just saying is why can't the "JIT start point" be the end of any game update that would cause a shader recompile? Just bake that in to the update process!

It's not that astru assumes too much pinna gain or anything... And with headpos even without the need to assume pinna gain he has huge treble problems around 6k ANYWAY. So it doesn't even fucking matter If they did something useful like I dunno trying to figure out whether insertion depth and peak position are good predictors of how an IEM will sound in general. otherwise all this shit is meaningless

>>108513533Listen, the problem is jeets spamming with AI. Not only Canonical/Ubuntu, but Debian itself is mired in a this sinkhole of constantly enshittifying jeetcode. Ubuntu is like a modern Bronco, it doesn't compare at all to the real thing. Jeets are destroying fucking everything. Idk if you noticed but Jeets at Hindoogle are planning on preventing you from installing from outside the Play Store. There's an ADB workaround planned for now, but I'm afraid this is the law of capitalism in place (Ford v Dodge) where a company must legally enshittify itself for its stockholders. That's also the reason for all the goddamn fucking jeets. They think you need to give them your government ID to make an app. They wanna be Apple. This is all to show you more ads, as if your phones don't have enough. Also it's to annoy and eventually block users who dare do things such as block advertising. >but gubmint can stop emThey'd also have to get Apple, which they wont, therefore Android can freely copy Apple
