People always make fun of air coolers. Is it because it is deprecated technology?
>>107892078Are you retarded? Can you not read?In 5-7 years when the pump dies, you're buying ANOTHER AIO. Over 10-20 years, AIOs will always be more expensive because you WILL have to replace them in that time. You can't cross your fingers and count on being one of the few AIOs that lasts more than 10 years and act like that's expected for all AIOs, sure it happens, but the odds of it happening to YOUR AIO are low.The argument being made is over decades, a high end air cooler will be significantly cheaper.
>>107892108the pumps dont die.I handle hundreds of coolers every day in our shop and I've never seen an AIO die in 24 years, even trash like VapoChill still chugs in old systems>over decadesI have yet to see any proof that a water cooler will NOT last over 10 years
>>107892133>the pumps dont die. You're full of shit, I literally do this for my job too and see dead pumps ALL THE FUCKING TIME.Your anecdotal evidence is bullshit.I see dozens of dead pumps per YEAR you dumb faggot bastard.
>>107892133Lol why do you think anyone would believe you unless they're a teenager with zero experience? Most people here have owned AIOs, and many people have had those AIOs die over the years. This isn't reddit, you're dealing with people who are 40-60 years old and have been doing this shit since the '90s.Even if you haven't personally experienced a pump failure, if you have friends who build PCs, you've probably had one of them have a pump fail.I can only assume you're actually retarded and are LARPing with little to zero real world experience. This isn't some conspiracy theory to shit on AIOs, it's just statistics gathered over the last 15-20 years of AIOs.
>>107892133The pumps typically fail because water permeates through the pipes and seals very slowly over the years and evaporates away
What would happen if the big tech companies came together and decided to end support for anyone using an adblocker? Banning people for days or weeks at a time for instance.
They kinda did, but firefox and other browsers support ublock origin still. Google wanted it gone because they're indians and indians love SEO, normal websites want it gone because of ad revenue.
>>107880690basically not going to use any of your AI slop anymoreHope ad niggers go bankrupt and kys
>>107880690big corporations have no control over what people do with their browsers and there's nothing they can do about it except seethe, go broke and kill themselves.
>>107891252>Advertising is extremely important to spreading awareness of products.that's the excuse but everyone knows this is fucking bullshit and a good product sells itself via word of mouth and its reputation alone. they don't need corporate brainwashing produced by extremely low iq retards to shill cancer.
>>107892156>They kinda did, pestering people with javascripts crying over adblockers isn't "kinda" doing anything. they all get filtered too and added to adblocker lists. the gold standard of adblocking (according to retards) is used by twitch and has been consistently defeated for fucking years. i don't recall the last time i ever saw an advert on twitch. must have been 5+ years ago at minimum.
Starlink has updated its Privacy Policy to allow the use of customers' personal information for AI model training, including for third parties...
>>107892017Like, I'm literally a quarter mile from Fiber installs (apparently, it took a good DECADE for aDSL to even be a thing for me) and since there is only thee houses down the road for me, the Fiber company doesn't want to spend the time to throw a pipe down when I'd willingly pay them to run the line AND sub to their service over Musk's shitty Sat inter.Maybe the Government should worry about that than Oil and "Illegals" in the country.

>>107892034Works fine for me. Are you turning it on and off frequently? Everytime you restart starlink you get assigned a new ip. That means 4chan makes you wait to post and gives you the hard captchas again. Sometimes you get assigned an ip that already has a ban.But if you just leave your starlink running 24/7 which is what I do then you won't have these problems.
>>107892246Yeah, I never reboot it unless I have to and still have the problem. It's whatever, it's not like I'm broke so I have the pass but on sheer principle, it's shitty having to resort to that

>>107886756AI was marketed as an incredible new technology that would transform society and add massive amounts of value to the economy. If it's a website where people look at ads who otherwise would have looked at ads on a different website, and that's a big enough source of income for them that they institute it over public outcry, that's not adding value to the economy.
>>107892025None of that is true. It is just automation of menial white collar labor. Will transform the economy? Yes. Will it add actual valve? Not likely with certain models and hardware.

let's have a serious discussion now, what is going on at Microsoft?
>>107889617I'm sure Microsoft will find ways to survive but any public or cutting edge businesses are going to disappear. They are destined to become one of many server farms that rent out cloud compute. The old Microsoft was in competition with apple for imagining and manifesting the future of technology and they have thrown it all away because their CEO is a boring bean counter.I don't know if modern CEOs care about legacy anymore but I would be embarrassed if I inherited an aerospace company and turned it into a health insurance company, even if the stock price was higher.
>>107890773The funny part is they abandoned the one initiative that actually had promise which was the AR division. They didn't have the patience yet again and shut it down, it's windows phone all over again.

These companies are like national organs that are all failing their purpose because they are trying to become the biggest tumour possible. Seeing they are all ran by Indians is a massive black pill on the third world, even as well educated, fully integrated wealthy citizens they don't fit, I detect no moral compass or sense of purpose in any of them. They aren't even psychopathic it's just low iq materialism and mistaking symbolic achievements for what is real.

>>107891355idk what this means. sounds like a fake answer
>>107891365That's what I thought, I'm not really into bright stuff but don't have similar issues with bright IEMs. There is song from by Ludwig goransson in Oppenheimer, can you hear the music or something like that, it goes up and up with wall of sound and with Arya stealth this was painful for me, I had to turn down volume just to save my ears from that, and if u do that you turning down rest of the frequencies and you losing that sense of wall of sound coming at you. Same with Hans Zimmer stuff, and I currently have IEMs that are known for being really bright, yet I don't have problems with listen thru these songs. Not to mention chinkfiman build quality, first pair had 3.5mm socket so loose that cable could randomly unplug itself just by force of gravity pulling on it, second pair had weird mashup of parts and after research it looked like they put driver from Arya V3 stealth inside earcup of Arya V2 without telling anyone about it. Don't like that brand at all, loved Sundara but Arya made me really dislike them.

>>107890607not anon, but yes if you don't use bugsplat or sentry (services you may need to pay for). These tools will send reports to a server when your code crashes, with a stacktrace.Basically mingw uses dwarf debug info, but msvc uses codeview (which could be stored in multiple ways but the main way is with a pdb file). You can technically compile mingw with pdb files (clang), but I personally observe that msvc has slightly better optimized stacktraces (But that that with a grain of salt, I did not really compare much, it just happens the dwarf debug info is 10x smaller than the same pdb, and I happen to have situations where dwarf will give no debug source or line info for the top function, msvc still gives bad/misleading stacktraces while optimized, and many flags such as /OPT:ICF can affect stacktrace quality).
This entire time I’ve been looking at Minecraft Java edition as a template for my Minecraft clone when I should’ve been looking at Bedrock edition which actually uses c++. Interestingly enough the block definitions use a component system instead of a glorified struct. Which may be a little overkill for my initial use cases but highly extensible.

New game, 'Teach Your Children To Lie'You draw cards for patterns to match, each pattern is worth points, each move is one marble shifting one space, can't move into or through a filled divot, as you complete patterns you get the points and draw another. Game ends when all three players pass or all cards are complete. Completing 2 or more patterns in a single move gives bonus points, and there is a blind trade system where on their turn a player can offer one card to trade to the other players for a card of their choice, if all three players accept the trade, there us a round Robin with the direction chosen by the player who initiated the trade
