They literally can't, based on the company structure. And FB was always a dogshit product.

The only way to change this future for the better is to stop using any Meta products and collectively dump the stock from your portfolios.

have a cv1, there was nothing but shooty shooty games to play that all did the same fucking thing back then, and the only thing to look forward to was half life alyx, which was a shooty shooty game.

got a quest 3 late last year for free, decided to say fuck it and see where we were at because there was zero investment on my part, and all there is, is the same shooty shooty shit there was when i had a cv1, a few more mini golf games and half life alyx is behind us and there's nothing else. so it kind of killed itself

The Windows 7 drive gave me an access restricted warning when I tried to open some folders, but the warning went away after some time without me doing anything. I could access everything after that. Idk what happened.

It might just have been file permissions. File permissions are enforced by your OS so if you're an administrator on your own computer you can always override the permissions of any HDD you plug into it.

I have a more expensive one, R36S.
It discharges in a week even if unused, which means that I can't pick it up on a whim and play, it needs charging. The battery is crap overall, and having it tethered to a powerbank completely ruins portability for me.
The built in speaker is very poor, at low volume it's just noise.
Shoulder buttons and Select/Start/Fn are very loud, it's not possible to play at night when someone is sleeping in the same room.
The screen is very nice, some sort of laminated IPS, 640x480.
The CPU is disappointing, significantly weaker than a Raspberry Pi 4. On the Pi I can play at 1080p with CRT-like shaders the same games that this R36S only plays well without shaders.
No Bluetooth so using my MegaDrive joystick is not possible.

Overall I'd say it's acceptable but no match for a Steam Deck, or a Pi4 connected to a TV. I still prefer to play on the Pi4 (retropie), despite already owning the R36S.

There's a big difference between Indian Hindu rape rats adopting something, and allowing them to take over and destroy that thing- which is the only thing these inbred 45 Hindu rape rats can do. See the difference between Canada or the UK, vs Dubai, for a further illustration of the difference between letting Indian Hindu rape rats take over, vs keeping them down like the slaves that they are.

How the fuck is a 1998 game capable of generating collisions for any terrain and it just works on super old hardware?
Meanwhile Godot's trimesh is so slow it cannot even run smoothly on modern hardware (and also broken since version 4), while anything other than trimesh will cause the player to literally fall through the stage?

Can someone explain this?

It genuinely isn't. It was once, but these days the site is completely overrun with retards, bots, paid shills and worst of all Indians. Even most of the subs I used to enjoy 5 years ago are now unusable. With all the mass deletions and overwrites of old posts by people who want to ghost and/or not feed the AI slop machine, even old, formerly useful threads are now a wasteland.

Why? Do you enjoy having to compete against 2000 jeets with fake resumes for every job you apply to and hoping for the 0.1% chance your resume even makes it through all the spam for a real person to look at?
>>
>>107891058

The only things you're "competing" in against the jeets is a race to the bottom and nepotism. Most of them suck shit. Whatever outsourced engineering work they are doing is very narrow in scope. 5 jeets for 1 american engineer fte.

The reason AC gained prominence hundreds of years ago was not because of lower losses compared to DC, if anything AC has more losses for the same voltage compared to DC due to the skin effect. The issue back then was transforming voltage in AC was brain-dead easy: just put two copper coils close together and you get high voltages to transfer electricity over long distances without losses and then you transform to low voltages so that people don't kill themselves if they switch on the lamps.
Transforming DC voltage was much more difficult and expensive until the invention of power semiconductors. Now DC transformations are viable and theoretically more efficient but good luck changing a "good enough" 100 year old global infrastructure.

pestering people with javascripts crying over adblockers isn't "kinda" doing anything. they all get filtered too and added to adblocker lists. the gold standard of adblocking (according to retards) is used by twitch and has been consistently defeated for fucking years. i don't recall the last time i ever saw an advert on twitch. must have been 5+ years ago at minimum.

Like, I'm literally a quarter mile from Fiber installs (apparently, it took a good DECADE for aDSL to even be a thing for me) and since there is only thee houses down the road for me, the Fiber company doesn't want to spend the time to throw a pipe down when I'd willingly pay them to run the line AND sub to their service over Musk's shitty Sat inter.

Works fine for me. Are you turning it on and off frequently? Everytime you restart starlink you get assigned a new ip. That means 4chan makes you wait to post and gives you the hard captchas again. Sometimes you get assigned an ip that already has a ban.
But if you just leave your starlink running 24/7 which is what I do then you won't have these problems.
