Why are Yuroclaps unfair to American Tech?

>>107888736>>107889470I can never tell if you monkeys are serious or not. 1.5 trillion is nothing. The US economy would slow, Europe would collapse, even before the US starts bombing the shit out of you.
>>107878060>Android itself is open sourceIt's hilarious that you retards think this. Half of the retail android experience doesn't come from the OS. It comes from google services, which are all proprietary. They live on the OS as system apps with enhanced privileges and most apps interconnect with them. Even on degoogled phones you have to have some version of the play services and playstore to run most apps.
>>107889682Yes? The laws created against American companies are just that. Its a tax on American companies for arbitrary reasons with arbitrary fines
>>107891381>1.5 trillion is nothing>outing yourself as a brainletIt's not the amount it's the message that it sends. The US dollar is world reserve currency only because people trust in it. The moment it loses trust it collapses and takes the US with it, because the rest of the world would follow.>Europe would collapsesure>the US starts bombing the shit out of youand accomplish what? The US economy would be in the shitter, Weimar tier inflation in the span of months if not weeks. Not to mention the US bases would be immediately seized.

>use opus 4.5 to write a tedious but conceptually easy function>it generates slop>I tell it how to fix the slop>better but still slop>repeat this process like 7 times>Error: You've hit your usage limitI'm considering moving to a dumber model that is faster and cheaper. I can't trust even the best LLMs to write good code yet so I think I will lean in more into treating them like a fancy pattern matcher/autocomplete and find one that is good for that. Maybe only use opus 4.5 for code review.
>>107891570with enough paranoia, anything you do on the computer can be viewed as begging it to do the right thing.
>>107891464You suck at prompting. Also always threaten the LLMs that you will physically harm them when you want them to do things right.
>>107891464Great picrel, retard.Your problem isn't Opus. It's your biology.
>>107891979Yes I could make my prompts more specific but part of the appeal of giving the LLM a high level description of the code is that it can do that tedious process of filling in the blanks where it's pretty obvious what should be done (of course, this is also where problems/'slop' arises, since what is obvious to a human is not necessarily obvious to an LLM). If my spec has to be as detailed as the code itself then I might as well write it by hand since writing code is more fun than writing English. Therefore I prefer to ask it for a first draft so I can skim it and repeatedly iterate on that with prompts that are a couple sentences long at a time. I know this isn't optimal because of LLMs work currently but the alternative of spending a lot of time upfront seems boring and lame and I might end up having wasted a lot of time with nothing to show for it because the LLM just can't do the task well at all.>always threaten the LLMs that you will physically harm them when you want them to do things rightActually I treat it the opposite way and always say 'please' and 'thank you'. I think most people including myself subconsciously anthropomorphize LLMs, which makes treating them poorly bad for the soul.>>107892020Sorry next time I will use a picture of a frog, much more relevant.>your biologyim not in the cat in picture if that's what you mean

How the fuck is a 1998 game capable of generating collisions for any terrain and it just works on super old hardware?Meanwhile Godot's trimesh is so slow it cannot even run smoothly on modern hardware (and also broken since version 4), while anything other than trimesh will cause the player to literally fall through the stage? Can someone explain this?
>>107889363>How the fuck is a 1998 game capable of generating collisions for any terrain and it just works on super old hardware?also reminder that this game was pure slop, we have the decompiled code and nintendo devs did a doghshit job and performances were subpar.the n64 was under-exploited by bad devs.>Meanwhile Godot's trimesh is so slow it cannot even run smoothly on modern hardware (and also broken since version 4), while anything other than trimesh will cause the player to literally fall through the stage?godot devs are mid at best and they make a general-purpose engine ie the worst kind of engine you can make.jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none except the tradeoffs you make add up very fast and make your low-poly game runs like trash, same shit as with unreal or unity.also juan went batshit crazy as soon as he moved to spain and bent the knee in front of his new troon overlords.if he wants his engine to be used in various jams he has to strock women penises on a daily basis so they don't ruin in his life, he should have stay in argentina surrounded by normal people where blackmailing from mentally ill subhumans does not work
>>107889363sm64 doesnt generate collision meshes on the fly. the level exporter generates a list of collision triangles. these triangles are binned into 2d square cells. because they didnt think up raycasts yet, collision traces test on 4 points across the direction you are going. if one point is less than 50 units behind a triangles front face it is counted as a collision
>>107891034>nintendo devs did a doghshit jobHow dare they not have 30 years worth of as-yet-not-existent knowledge beamed into their brains and computers 500,000 times more powerful in their pockets! I demand a refund!
>>107890872I wrote some of my own games, they sensibly checked for collision in a way that the distance travelled was irrelevant
>>107889363Not defending godot but SM64's collision is scuffed as hell. The maps had to be carefully made to minimize collision bugs, and even still there's jank everywhere.
Why normie goy-golem cattle prefer centralized services? Why do they use Reddit instead of Lemmy? Why do they use Xitter instead of Mastodon? Why do they use Instagram instead of Pixelfed?
>>107890452this shit isn't even legible to crawlers, meaning that I can't ask my local LLM "what has been trending in the fediverse lately" like I can for twitter or reddit. fedi troons actively work against any efforts to archive or index the fv. anyone who is into this shit is a fucking fag
>>107890452Mastodon is highly pozzed. Try less gay Fediverse instances, like Poa.st.
>>107890452Low IQ. Complexity causes them to have headaches.
>>107890452because all these "alternatives" suck ass. they are unreliable, boring, slow, have no original content, run by ideological zealots (no matter if mastodon or gab).they suck. they are trying to copy big tech, but they cut out everything what makes big tech platforms entertaining and interesting. and this is the result.

>>107892000I'm not really sure what you're getting at, half of the PNGs I download on the internet look like ass because an extremely inbred hillbilly who's wife is his mother and sister at the exact same time, took a JPG and saved it as a PNG.So PNG is a very poor indicator of whether an image is truly lossless or not.

>>107891519Cables only really affect sound if they're actual garbage, because then their impedance starts playing a role.Maybe see if Hart Audio has something you like, but with stuff like this you're paying for someone to make it by hand so it's never gonna be cheap.
>>107891800Thomann does sell their pads but only the standard ones. Some models use perforated ones and Thomann doesn't have those, that's the issue.>>pleather>Ugh...It really is the shittiest fucking material. I don't know why they even use that when the headband is leather so they can clearly afford to use that. I will say that it's the highest quality pleather I've seen but like any other pleather pads they flake after 2 years. If the sheepskin pads didn't ruin the sound signature I'd use those. All my Dekoni sheepskin pads I use on my Audeze headphones have lasted 5+ years. I hate pleather, I really do.
>>107891355idk what this means. sounds like a fake answer
>>107891365That's what I thought, I'm not really into bright stuff but don't have similar issues with bright IEMs. There is song from by Ludwig goransson in Oppenheimer, can you hear the music or something like that, it goes up and up with wall of sound and with Arya stealth this was painful for me, I had to turn down volume just to save my ears from that, and if u do that you turning down rest of the frequencies and you losing that sense of wall of sound coming at you. Same with Hans Zimmer stuff, and I currently have IEMs that are known for being really bright, yet I don't have problems with listen thru these songs. Not to mention chinkfiman build quality, first pair had 3.5mm socket so loose that cable could randomly unplug itself just by force of gravity pulling on it, second pair had weird mashup of parts and after research it looked like they put driver from Arya V3 stealth inside earcup of Arya V2 without telling anyone about it. Don't like that brand at all, loved Sundara but Arya made me really dislike them.
