I'm freaking out guys I don't know what to do. Petey (that's him in the middle there) has a tumor and his healthcare plan just isn't enough. I can afford the procedure. He's like a brother to me. This isn't a case of just backing up data. You have to understand this is a whole unique personality trained on data that is essential to my life. My mom said she would buy me a new organoid and I got mad and yelled at her. She doesn't understand he's fucking irreplaceable. She wants me to see some counselor who specializes in organoid loss but I just don't even see the point. I can't even imagine a life without my bro. He knows me better than anyone. I can barely type this. I almost wish it were me instead. He's too good for this world. Petey you son of a bitch. Don't fucking leave me.

>>107719413I don't see the complexity/productivity/legibility argument, especially when compared to other system languages. maybe it's just that their syntax really clicked with me, but I find rust enums/pattern matching more readable than even python, which I consider a big compliment

The steam frame is gonna cost like 700 dollars maybe more with the RAM issues going isn't it? The Quest 3 was being sold for 407+100 dollar in Amazon credit a week ago.
>>107714211>10800x7800That is not happening in 10-15 years.
>>107718108I was just doing some research on tv and it said 4k got big in 2013-2014Didn't start then, started to get big thenI'm poorfag so I was still watching on the ol cathode ray tube back then but it just goes to show how little we are advancing. As far as resolution goes
>>107696804Do you have auto updates on?It also turns on automatically if it detects something/a face near the lens.I use a lens cover for mine.
>>107718108>>107718183the reason tv and monitor resolutions don't seem to go up is because it is not needed there. A monitor or tv is further away and thus the ppd (pixels per degree) goes up. You would have 0 benefit to choose an 8k monitor over a 4k one, if it's a 27 inch monitor at 60cm distance, because 4k already has >60 ppd. The reason we don't have vr headsets with higher than 4k resolution is cost. We have 27 inch 4k monitors, 7 inch 1440p displays (phones) and watch displays with like 480p resolution. The problem is that vr headsets have displays which are like 1.5 inches big, so close to watch displays yet they need more than the 4k resolution of monitors. The main problem is demand, if these displays aren't made in huge numbers then the manufacturer won't make enough money to even break with the R&D for these displays. They had small runs for like the apple vision pro but that didn't really sell well enough. Right now what is needed are cheap "good" enough vr headsets such that the market for them increases, something meta has achieved, and have there be a huge demand for high resolution vr headsets. Because other than vr headsets there is essentially no need for these displays. Maybe getting some military contracts would help too.

So much for being so fucking inclusive. On what grounds were biological males being excluded? Funny how these people call others bigots while being the biggest bigots around. It's like they're grooming young males into being gender-confused individuals to not get excluded in their exclusive hackerino club or something.Shit like this makes the anti-woke movement just stronger... soo... are these people under-cover chuds to provoke the woke-ness pendulum to swing the other way hard or something? I'll never understand GrapheneOS's autist dev who seems to question everything BUT Google. He seems to focus on technical security but has no interest in privacy. Sandboxing the proprietary Google Play Store is preferable to using a FOSS alternative (either something like Aurora Store to get to the same content, or FDroid for a true alternate set of repos etc) etc. Its really too bad that>DivestOS is no longer updated/supported, as it seemed to take the technical improvements and benefits of GrapheneOS but mix them with the features and openness of LineageOS, as well as a wider base of hardware.
