Youtube's gradual reduction in bitrate and generally just making everything compressed and cheaper means that it kinda all looks like shit unless it's from a channel that pays to host videos on the site.
>>
how many 140mm fans can you safely daisy chain?
P14 Pro Arctic fans
Gigabyte Aorus Stealth B850 mobo
>>
>>107648617
Enable RTX upscaling. I even defaulted to 1080p in general, because you can't tell the difference in a video, but wastes less bandwidth (not that I have a cap, but others use the internet too, no reason to hog it).
>>
>>107648653
Is there a reason you want to daisy chain a bunch of fans instead of just using a fan hub?
>>
>>107648653
Check what amperage the header is and then divide by the amperage of the fans.
With 4-pin PWM it's a lot more then with normal 3-pin though.

How would i know if CS is a good fit for me? Im pushing 30. My whole life plan back in 2014 was to enlist right after HS, go to some Frontline unit and die.

That didnt happen. The only metric I have for how smart I am is i got a 95% on the ASVAB in HS and now at 29 I took it again and got a 97% after only 2 months worth of studying and I'm not in school.
My weakest subject has always been math but I remember being a B+ to A ish student.

I have a better idea of who I am as a person and feel getting a nice office job would be a good move. I've worked trades
>>
>>107648637
The CS job market is fucked right now, but learning programming can probably help you out for any job you apply for.

Reminds me of the time where they finally released obama's birth certificate. It was a pdf with multiple layers, indicating that it was a forgery. Because why would there be layers in a scan of the actual certificate.

What was even funnier, was that some group started digging through the hawain archives, and they found a document that had a number of stamps aligned/positioned exactly the same as on the possibly forged obama document.

The unfunny icing on the cake was that somebody from the archives later died in a plane crash hopping between islands.

>why aren't you submitting we're even using le maymays

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine.

Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

KDE always breaks itself whenever it's close to getting good since time immemorial. it's outright the least cancerous desktop but it's by no means 'good'. No one switching today comes for Linux being 'good' they flee the alternatives being worse
>>
>>107621970
It's not always a better experience.
But it's a necessary one. The alternative is a hell of vendor lock-in, DRM and TPM abuse.

Because these days it is provided you aren't tech illiterate.
Windows was constantly berating me for not subscribing to and using Microsoft products. Microsoft has a complete rapist mentality by not taking no for an answer.
Being familiar with Windows and unfamiliar with Linux doesn't make Windows "better".

oh yeah, I see it. That has been a big issue with the "easy" Linux distros in the past. A good chunk of the hardware issues people used to have were caused by distros incorrectly setting up the system, often with suboptimal or straight up incompatible/broken settings.
>dumbest of all is zram compressed swap by default
why is it so? it should be at least better than swap on disk or no swap at all, shouldn't it?
>>
>>107648020
you would only use it if you didn't have a valid swap disk target (slow HDD, poor write endurance disk, etc.). even zswap with backing on a SATA SSD would be better than zram swap block device, especially if you have limited memory to begin with.

It's fine, main issue is that it's relatively new so it's hard to tell how it's gonna do in the long run. I use their repos on arch because they include compiled binaries for some aur packages that otherwise don't have them

Yeah I'm pretty much giving up on this.
I already tried different kernels, with different games and forks, outside steam in case there's some fuckery, I've no idea.
My controller already needs some sort of fix which turns it into a generic 360 controller. I thought it was the polling rate but gamepadla-polling is showing it correctly. I don't know what's going on. I can take a 20% fps hit but the input lag is not for me.
