Apple Macs are Intel PCs + SMC + EFI
>OMG Apple sucks, they're basically just selling PC hardware now
Apple Macs are completely custom
>OMG Apple sucks, why don't their computers just work like everyone else's
>>
>>107615876
both are fine the problem is its totally undocumented and hard to develop for. every obscure single board computer atleast gives you one older version of the linux kernel that definitely works and myba a whole version of debian that works and devs take it from there. for apple there's nothing but this junk ass ashai project for only some of their chips
>>
>>107615931
That's a fair assessment. This secrecy sucks and does them no favors. Those things have a solid security architecture that relies on keys, not obscurity.
There's no good reason to keep this documentation to themselves.

lazy

im actually kinda impressed with the performance and battery life of some of their machines but if my distro wont run on it its a non starter and im gonna have to opt for infirior hardware just because it has software support

No, it's going to take me a while to get to that. I'm trying to "perfect" that little bit during this phase, and the writing I've already done (which is a breddy gud amount) hasn't gotten to aliens, but it /has/ gotten to inter-dimensional beings.

I also had to redo my RSS feed because things have changed since back when I had one many years ago. Back then they had .rss extension, but now they have .xml. I didn't know until I used the W3C validator to check and make sure I was compliant.

the difference is, in real live you treat both as hot because imagine trusting a tradie to not mix up the color code. That is especially true for the general population that have zero knowledge of Electric systems.
And as a result all home appliances today are at least insulated, if not double insulated. Unlike old tube radios that put Chassis ground on one of the plug prongs

Here's to hoping it solves itself until after christmas and we can just post easily, but at least now we have a few alternatives should that not work.
>but I just got the bad goy version (new IP) and you're right, it's AIDS
I wouldn't even mind doing it once or twice, it'd be whatever, but not when I am trying to figure out the boundaries and have to try 10 times in a row kek.

Can't wait for 4chanXT to support the captcha solving where it shows all at once, that'd make it a lot less painful already.

I've spent way too much time browsing semi-transparrent onepiece swimsuits and semi-transparrent leotards on my Alibaba for my girlfriend.

I bought a few, but the quality is really bad. I think I need to try to buy from the higher shelf. The west part tho is that the info on sizes is mostly useless and it's essentially gambling.
>>
>>107615741
Are you like going through the Alibaba shopping page and looking for the min order 1 stuff or something?
Is it more of a pain to order stuff?
>>
>>107615897
nta, depending on what are you trying to buy is not more difficult. buying itself that's it
but you are buying as a business... is usually not as fast, you may need to speak with them instead of getting shit just sent, and you may need to deal with customs and other crap, depending on where you are as again this is a business to business platform
you can also claim as business expense, bc they give you proper invoices, while aliexpress invoices are not valid

Initially i just looked for random cheap ones with free shipping just see what they are like. I was buying from the 5-15 bucks area since they are... one use only if you will, but most don't fit since the sizing info is garbage.

Then I ordered few from a single shop that seemed to specialize in that kind of stuff and had good deals, and one was actually great for cheap, but the rest was way too big despite picking smallest sizes for everything.

If I ever find a nice one at a good price that's really small but stretchy I'll just buy in bulk...
