Roll your own config and stop using doom.
Using doom only makes sense if you're okay with the defaults Doom comes with. Otherwise it's a game of whack-a-mole where your config breaks in unexpected ways all the time.

one day I'm gonna be a real lispbro
just like all of you
>>
I just invented a new lisp with two new operations:
>CBR
Finds the next nested list (and searches that list recursively for another nested list until it's reached the "bottom"), removes it, and appends it to the end of the current list
>CRR
Every 150 steps of execution the entire program state is saved, and calling this function goes back to the last checkpoint

What do you think /λ/?

you can do it bro, I did the same like 5 years ago. Lisp is the most fun I've had programing.

Always say that gaming outside of windows is a meme, you'll always piss off linux users
I've been using Nobara daily for two years. Only other distros I've used are ubuntu which I had for a short while before getting windows when I built my PC but Nobara's been able to keep me away from using the terminal barring one fatal instance, which is nice.
It's a nifty OS because the main developer is also the dude working on Proton. It's just that the website itself is useless for documentation and they rely on people coming to the discord (which is where all news updates are) for tech-help, which is FAST I had people respond to me quick but like holy shit do I really need to be going to a place and getting help from a dude who's profile picture is himself with pink hair instead of just your fucking website
They also didn't merge the system updater with the package updater so the jump from nobara 39->40 was fucked up and a lot of people ended up having to reinstall (me as well) because of using the package manager for updates rather than the system updater (which still isn't merged but doesn't allow you to update or some shit without using it)
I used Corectrl (and still do) to set fan curves and I had GPUScreenRecorder for capture until Steam's recording stuff took off.
It all 'just works', but will require you to know how to troubleshoot to fix problems sometimes - usually initially.
But Nobara comes with shit like wine preconfigured and preinstalled and I have run a LOT of random eroge just by running the windows exe so god save nobara linux

Did they try sharing Samsung's profits with their employees like Huawei does?
No, they paid them wages that can;t buy a nice flat in Seoul and expected them to slave away 12h/day, die childless so Samsung can pay their shareholders enough to buy the 5th yacht this year.

Glad they got rekt.

the judeoamerican "creativity" cope is unreal.
creativity is tied to smart people (europeans and east-asians) having access to financing and a society where they can work in peace and safety while raising a family with ease.

China didn't have 2 of those until recently. They do now.

Either way ive been in the PC ame awhile and if I see a .tar file i roll my eyes knowing that some faggot thinks hes very clever for doing something in a more obtuse manner.
And of course anything such a faggot produces likely isnt of much worth so t can be easily ignored without any real loss.
Cant find the image but several years ago on 4chins there was a picture of a door chain lock made into an actual maze that stated "Only the dumbest people think pointless complexity is a sign of intelligence" that sums up those who use .tar for me.

I use QubesOS with detached boot partition on 2 duplicated USB drives with any data that rests on the SSD/HDDs being encrypted with LUKS2. Whonix gateway is proxied through a VPN qube to hide Tor IPs (can't hide communication patterns) without bridges since bridge IPs can be farmed. Sometimes Tor through I2P outproxy or vice-versa or with different anonymizing network overlays. Clients used for browsing are only opened in on-RAM ephemeral qubes with no access to permanent storage. Attack surface is quite minimum since no extra things added like USB mouse and no PV qubes (aside from sys-usb and sys-net) are used for launching HVM qubes with qemu stub domains unless very necessary and every other qube on the system gets shut down first to keep information leakage minimum. A veracrypt volume with hidden storage on a permanent qube for data storage and plausible deniability.

Try Slackware it does not do stuff automatically behind your back, once you get familiar with it you should like it more since it requires you to actually decide when to update/upgrade and what packages to upgrade is all your decision, no big brother style handholding

i would cum

I’ve been running Linux Mint for over four years and was happy with it until the recent drama, especially the AI security scan fiasco. It really shook my trust in the maintainers.

I started looking for alternatives, but after testing hundreds of distros, none of them met my expectations for stability and reliability. I began to accept that my system would just break from time to time until I found a thread recommending Windows Seven as a rock-solid alternative.

After researching, it turns out this version is still surprisingly usable. It’s stable, reliable, and with extended updates plus a good firewall, security isn’t a major issue.

Has anyone else tried this? How did it go for you? Personally, I haven’t run into a single problem so far.

Just saying that doesn't really mean anything. You can say that in any conversation and it would have the same effect.

Like just taking that at face value its pretty strange to make such an assertive generalization about someone. Like I'm making claims about you and the other people, but they are very specific claims in response to specific behaviors. and not just a overused generalization.

Just taking it at the value of trying to be an insult it really is ineffective because its obv just trying to be an insult with nothing backing it.

So either way I don't really see what this reply achieved and its interesting to think you thought it would achieved anything.
