>>107633955Most vapes on the market are manifold more damaging than cigarettes. On no-name brands, esp. the stuff imported from countries without scrupulus such as China, concentration of additives is often times completely out of whack wrt safety standards and swings drastically - which can lead to trivial and arbitrary fatal overdosage.
>>107630202>why do cordless vacuums still suck?because a real vacuum runs on 1200watts while the best cordless, on ((((high)))) power can maybe do 500 watts for 5 minutes.lmk when they make 1kw cordless vacuum with a 20 minute run time.also, lmk when they make a proper press fit fitting and not those retarded clip in fittings.
>>107630202>why do every consumer-grade vacuums still suck?ftfyit's on purpose, just buy professional-grade vacuums, they cost less and perform infinitely better while not looking gay as fuck.I was on the market for a vacuum nearly a decade ago and noped the fuck out the vacuum alley when I saw the eurokistan pricing for these things who won't last more than the warranty period.also dyson is pure garbage, shit quality for piss-poor performance, you're buying a stylish product, not a functional one, it's like the iphone of vacuums, you're not really suppose to be use it, it's so people who come to your house can see it.>>107630602>if you go corded, they're underpowered and you constantly have to change bagslmao what? these things have nothing to do with being corded or not.>filter is clogged, so you're now constantly cleaning your filterget it out, clean it and put it back, as simple as... hardware require maintenance, that's a fact of life.>Maybe a really pro-tier one with cyclone and autoclean is better, but fuck spending 1k for a vacuum!a cheap karcher wd2+ is 50€ and will outperform and outlive EVERY SINGLE consumer-grade vacuum on the market. it's also very easy to repair and maintain if needed.>And "robots"? utter dogshit, every single one of them, don't ever buy this shit.Comment too long. Everything went completely dark since late last week, I have one recruiter email this morning and a recruiter phone screen later today, and nothing elseI have already had final round interviews at 2 places and haven't hard a rejection, and several recruiters (external and internal) have mentioned they're submitting my resume to the hiring managerIt's going to be fucking nothing for 2 weeks then I'll get slammed, I kinda was hoping I'd have an offer before the holidays just for the emotional release, or at least even some rejections so I'm not left in an anxious holding pattern
>>107615359Usually they coordinate doing background checks and shit like that, you really notice the lack of HR in hiring when you apply to a startup that has no HR, I found myself basically driving the conversation as I'm used to the more formal step by step process
I trmember wanting to become an engineer. Working with technology seemed so cool. Also you got paid a lot. But the math was too hard. I had to drop out.But now I see a lot of engineers and other tech workers struggling? What the hell. I thought that softwarw engineers were supposed to program AI. Not get replaced by AI?

>>107634233lends into the theory make work jobs are to balance production with predictable consumption patterns.its not about the work persay, its all worthless to them, but the hierarchy and culture it disseminates through consumption.why I dont get comfortable at a job where everyone is married, mortgaged and motorized, those wages are there because a cosemetics factory either produces 0 or 5 million units, so you need x amount of officed young women that buys the stuff.even look at this guys pic, probably on his parents land, gardens his food, and than probably wastes it into >>107634169because there is nothing else to spend it on as it inflates away and debt service is not desired by design.not like its a free ride for them, you get treated like a pet in those places
What's the best PC controller on the market right now? My wired Xbox controller from 2015 works fine but I wanna go wireless
>>107632893I never had a controller battery die on me yet also worst case you do wired only using a usbCI don't like that the 8bito pro 3 lost it's battery pack and because of that I will no longer buy from the line but they will learn from less sales. The pro 3 can be replaced you just need to be more advanced and have soldering tools
>>107632975Both my dualshock 3 joysticks have barely functioning batteries and I can't get decent replacements, just used batteries with a new sticker slapped on top of them from AliExpress. AAs are superior for that reason alone.
>>107633030xbox controller that uses them is fragile shit with shit tier QC so your next bet is the previous 8bito pro which imo has reliability issues in same cases compared to the more durable newer gen models. Can't really win. You might be able to do a TMR mod on your controller
>>107629097The M30 is very good.My only "complaint" is how retarded the RetroArch mapping is for Sega controllers. They (retroarch) picked the worst possible layout.

Not for any particular purpose, but I like collecting identity leaks (usernames, emails, etc.) and would like to consolidate everything into a single DB so that duplicated data across multiple torrents isn't taking up as much space as it currently is.That said, I'm not a big DB guy and wondering if there's a particularly good choice for this task. I'm imagining I'd like something like a primary key be some UUID that then has columns for username arrays, email arrays, and then other general info that might be found. Not sure if I care about uname:pword mappings. Also not sure if I'd want to redo my data model at some point in the future as I work on it. Performance isn't a great concern, but it would be great if it had good on-disk compression when the dataset is entirely short text entries. Also, what the fuck is with these captchas? Is there any particular database that would be good for this?
