>>107617775Lel I heard it sometimes give you impossible CAPTCHAs. Something to do with your cookies?
>>107617761You see this a lot with statisticians and people in medicine. They just "don't get it".
>>107605875Even before this recent captcha change I always got two minute timers when phoneposting. And it doesn't just autopost after 2 minutes but you have to come back again yourself, and if you forget and do it after 10 minutes you have to start over again. And I live in a wealthy Western country not India. Has completely ruined phoneposting for me. And if you pay $20 you get to spam AI posts constantly every 30 seconds for months.

Python, one of the very few modern & popular programming languages not owned by big tech, is now begging hard for money at python.org (picrel), Wikipedia style. This comes after the PSF rejected an US government grant because the PSF can't stop shilling for DEI: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/10/28/211237/python-foundation-rejects-government-grant-over-dei-restrictionsThe same PSF then reported a surge of new donators following the above rejection: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/11/09/2017240/python-foundation-donations-surge-after-rejecting-grant---but-sponsorships-still-neededYet, they are now begging for money, using a big, intrusive and cringe banner at python.org, kek. This is what your donated money is used for: https://www.python.org/psf/grants>Conferences (e.g. PyCon Italia)>Event site subscriptions (Meetup.com) (e.g. London Django Meetup)>Django Girls Workshops (e.g. Django Girls Busan Workshop)>PyLadies Workshops (e.g. All Day PyLadies Workshop)These faggots have a whole page dedicated to their DEI philosophy: https://www.python.org/community/diversityTheir Libera Chat #python IRC channel is filled to the brim with trannies (they/them and she/her pronouns set as their IRC name).Comment too long. >>107614245Not the Anon you replied to, but if it's not your first Linux, you can go with the latest stable no problem (check the known issues in the release notes I suppose, I haven't updated to the latest release yet so I don't know if there are big issues but it should be fine). I've been using Lubuntu for years and am perfectly happy with it, though the default theming they have since the switch to LXQt is a bit spacious for my taste, I had to pare it down a bit to bring it closer to the old LXDE look. If your screen is bigger than 720p it'll be fine though, but on those smaller resolutions the wasted space really adds up to an annoying amount.

Or is it really earning as much as it ever did, and it just got dwarfed by services that you keep paying for like Azure, and software like Office they convinced people to go on paying for even though the version they already have does everything they actually want it to?
>>107608672Why would they need to re-write it? They already did it. There's been no significant change of how the taskbar works, the closest of which is that you can change the centering of the buttons. If anything, they've taken away features from the taskbar for some unknown reason (calendar button no longer on other taskbars, or dragging up on the icon not possible to access the app menu instead of right-click)

>>107617774I don't believe in gas as a weapon because it requires far too much preparation for the force assaulting into it, dissipating the element of surprise, and it's indiscriminate, which means it's that much harder to protect my own force and/or civilians while utterly destroying the enemy. Mine warfare, on the other hand, is advanced enough to be fair game if only you'd spend a little money or at least have some intern put dots on a map.

>>107616482Elon Musk is South African and can get British citizenship very easily.
>>107616210of course, taiwan is geostrategically extremely important, and not just because of its industries. it's a spot that sits in the middle of the chinese coast and enables us to control everything.it's as if us had only the east coast and cuba was sitting right in the middle of it and soviet union was packing it with weapons.
>>107614800European workers lack the intelligence, the skills, the mindset, the work ethic for this. Some very few yes, but by far not enough as needed for those fabs. In the US it's only even worse.
