There is probably a way to grab an old GPU and use its memory as swap space. Might even be able to use its chips for compression if you wanted to get fancy.

98 is unstable. The whole 9x "family" is as it is effectively built upon MS-DOS. The earliest usable NT kernel one is 2000 but it has its quirks, and regardless even with XP/2003 you have to choose between 4+ GB RAM support OR good backwards compatibility for your older gayms. Guess which version can do both even though its backwards compatibility is slightly worse than XP's.

Even before this recent captcha change I always got two minute timers when phoneposting. And it doesn't just autopost after 2 minutes but you have to come back again yourself, and if you forget and do it after 10 minutes you have to start over again. And I live in a wealthy Western country not India. Has completely ruined phoneposting for me. And if you pay $20 you get to spam AI posts constantly every 30 seconds for months.

Python, one of the very few modern & popular programming languages not owned by big tech, is now begging hard for money at python.org (picrel), Wikipedia style.

This comes after the PSF rejected an US government grant because the PSF can't stop shilling for DEI: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/10/28/211237/python-foundation-rejects-government-grant-over-dei-restrictions
The same PSF then reported a surge of new donators following the above rejection: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/11/09/2017240/python-foundation-donations-surge-after-rejecting-grant---but-sponsorships-still-needed
Yet, they are now begging for money, using a big, intrusive and cringe banner at python.org, kek.

This is what your donated money is used for: https://www.python.org/psf/grants
>Conferences (e.g. PyCon Italia)
>Event site subscriptions (Meetup.com) (e.g. London Django Meetup)
>Django Girls Workshops (e.g. Django Girls Busan Workshop)
>PyLadies Workshops (e.g. All Day PyLadies Workshop)

These faggots have a whole page dedicated to their DEI philosophy: https://www.python.org/community/diversity
Their Libera Chat #python IRC channel is filled to the brim with trannies (they/them and she/her pronouns set as their IRC name).

wasting hours of my fucking life dicking around juggling countless packages and version dependencies, recreating venv setups that can't be moved or migrated, code that refuses to run because of mismatch in whitespace which is fucking invisible by the way.
python is a fucking blight on software.
maybe not as bad as some of the new languages but fuck one of the first that opened the door to bullshit aids retardism.

>>
>>107614245
Not the Anon you replied to, but if it's not your first Linux, you can go with the latest stable no problem (check the known issues in the release notes I suppose, I haven't updated to the latest release yet so I don't know if there are big issues but it should be fine). I've been using Lubuntu for years and am perfectly happy with it, though the default theming they have since the switch to LXQt is a bit spacious for my taste, I had to pare it down a bit to bring it closer to the old LXDE look. If your screen is bigger than 720p it'll be fine though, but on those smaller resolutions the wasted space really adds up to an annoying amount.

What is the deal with the Anti-AI derangement syndrome? I don't like to judge people, but the anti-AI seem to include an evenly distribution of furries, twitter "artists", people with funny hair color, and a poor understanding of economy.

The fags hate it because it put them out of a job drawing shitty porn or something and also cause TPTB decided to pretend to be right wing, whatever that means, since the last couple years, which a lot of us saw coming.

What happened, did they start giving copies to OEMs for pennies? Or is it really earning as much as it ever did, and it just got dwarfed by services that you keep paying for like Azure, and software like Office they convinced people to go on paying for even though the version they already have does everything they actually want it to?
>>
>>107608672
Why would they need to re-write it? They already did it. There's been no significant change of how the taskbar works, the closest of which is that you can change the centering of the buttons. If anything, they've taken away features from the taskbar for some unknown reason (calendar button no longer on other taskbars, or dragging up on the icon not possible to access the app menu instead of right-click)

I don't believe in gas as a weapon because it requires far too much preparation for the force assaulting into it, dissipating the element of surprise, and it's indiscriminate, which means it's that much harder to protect my own force and/or civilians while utterly destroying the enemy. Mine warfare, on the other hand, is advanced enough to be fair game if only you'd spend a little money or at least have some intern put dots on a map.

of course, taiwan is geostrategically extremely important, and not just because of its industries. it's a spot that sits in the middle of the chinese coast and enables us to control everything.

European workers lack the intelligence, the skills, the mindset, the work ethic for this. Some very few yes, but by far not enough as needed for those fabs. In the US it's only even worse. Everybody is demanding better "work-life balance" and the ideology of DEI is preventing any competitive efficiency in the first place.
