Should I get GPD MicroPC 2 or GPD WIN mini 2025 or Pinephone with a keyboard? WIN mini is 800 EUR, MicroPC 2 is 600 EUR with N300 CPU but 3 times worse performance. Pinephone has raspberry pi 3 performance and is 350 EUR on the Pine64 EU store but only 240 EUR on the global store and the key board for it is 90 EUR on EU store but I can't find it on the global store.

A mental disorder, also referred to as a mental illness,[6] a mental health condition,[7] or a psychiatric disability,[2] is a behavioral or mental pattern that causes significant distress or impairment of personal functioning.[8]

Such disturbances may occur as single episodes, may be persistent, or may be relapsing–remitting.

There are many different types of mental disorders, with signs and symptoms that vary widely between specific disorders.[10][11]

Have you noticed, that "Privacy corporations" like duckduckgo and proton are increasingly creating their own ecosystems, where the user has to put their entire trust into a single, interconnected service? From the corporations perspective this makes sense, but from a privacy perspective this is totally stupid.

Thanks for links but that is not my question.
I know how to create a nonguix installation image myself from an already running Guix system and use that to set up a system. And the System Crafters guide to set up a system also depends on a prepared nonguix image.
I do have a running system with nonguix.

My question is specifically whether I can boot an official upstream image without nonguix and during the install make it use the nonguix channel for installation, without downloading a prepared image or preparing one myself beforehand.
As I am running into the mentioned problem trying that.

>boot an official upstream image without nonguix and during the install make it use the nonguix channel for installation, without downloading a prepared image
Yeah, if your PC can boot with the upstream image, you just need to add the nonguix channel to
~/.config/guix/channels.scm
and run
guix pull
. But, I think the upstream guix image uses tmpfs as /, so you'll need a considerable amount of RAM (>8 GB) to do this successfully.

I never used that cpu myself, but you could indeed run 2000 on a 64-bit cpu. That's all there's to it. Nobody looks cool running an OS.
>>

>>
>>106476255
>XP SP3 only lasted so long because Vista was a dumspter fire.

Vista was a dumpster fire because it introduced sane security standards that XP lacked, so every app now asked you to run as an admin. And because hardware manufacturers refused to properly support legacy hardware, so even something as a 1 year old motherboard would blue screen. Laptop makers adding Vista Ready stickers to machines that could barely run XP was the cherry on top.

If you had a Core 2 or newer, Vista ran 1000x better than XP.
>>
>>106482639
64bit cpu in general != x64 cpu.

Itanium was 64 bit and could run XP, yes, but it ONLY ran apps specifically compiled for it, nothing else. Meanwhile x64 is just a 64-bit extension for x86 and is nearly fully backwards compatible. Huge difference.

Itanium edition XP may as well not have existed as far as 64-bit editions go.

since its a gigabyte and not a lesser brand like pny or kfa2, the rgb logic is already implemented and the device just needs to be whitelisted

After spending 30 years offloading fundamental inputs to China, it's going to take a long time to adjust.

Massive inflation of the cost of every input is making it impossible to quickly build anything for the moment, things need to go sideways for a while.

He does a shit job at explaining how it works, it doesn't help that the audioless webm's subtitles includes all the uhms and pauses. When people hear "the government PRINTS money" they assume they literally just print a ton of new physical money at the US Mint or another country's equivalent to the Mint. So much confusion would be avoided if they just said "the government BORROWs money by selling bonds to buyers, that they then have to repay with interest in the future"
