Secondhand info I've gotten suggests that he apparently has never had a business plan. When he was asked once about a business plan, he pointed to some kid in the office and said "he's good with computers" and that's the closest thing he's ever had.Same guy apparently has a tendency to threaten employees. All the same people who do Sircles are also Tech2U owners. Apparently Tech2U is morally bankrupt as a company. Another ex employee told me once they had him do the same service call to a dementia patient like 6 times because the guy couldn't remember and kept calling. When he spoke up about it, they told him it wasn't his place to have an opinion
>>106518397Oh also. Same CEO allegedly would bring suspiciously young girls into the office on rotation. Like changed on a weekly basis type thing. Same guy was accused of having a coke addiction. There's something super suspicious about that whole sect.

So I have lots of old GPUs laying around. I'm thinking of using the biggest model on my best GPU out of the extras that can fit it with an okay context (4k or 8k). Then i'm thinking of a second GPU that I just run small models on for simple tasks like simple completions and shit, just so those are fast.Does it make sense or should I just rely all on the big model?

I'm a programming novice taking some online courses. The courses have moved off c, but i want to keep what I've learned sharp, so I'm writing an amateur string library for personal use. I made a linked list based function (properly frees all nodes after the linked list is transcribed into an array) that returns a pointer to a character array for dynamic string input and utilization back in main(). The array in main does need to be freed as well; put a reminder in the function docstring. Are there any known safety edge cases for a strategy like this? Does it generally make more sense to save all of the work and just initialize arrays with way more space than needed versus allowing for completely dynamic creation? It just annoys me that char arrays need to be fixed size at compile time, and I wanted to see if I could work around that for increased safety and interactivity.
>>106511308Probably an apple ifaggot
>>106511175there is basically no real use case for a linked list, it just happens to be the easiest resizable data structure to write in C
>>106517232I think the linked list is bad bullshit was promulgated by bjarne himself so it became popular (in favor of vector… have you seen the performance of realloc???). You are allowed to statically link MSVC standard libraries if you want to make sure the user doesn't have to install the library.
