The Sircles CEO is a egomaniacal schizo. It's not clear to me that he actually knows he's scamming people but he's a massive retard. Secondhand info I've gotten suggests that he apparently has never had a business plan. When he was asked once about a business plan, he pointed to some kid in the office and said "he's good with computers" and that's the closest thing he's ever had.
Same guy apparently has a tendency to threaten employees.

All the same people who do Sircles are also Tech2U owners. Apparently Tech2U is morally bankrupt as a company. Another ex employee told me once they had him do the same service call to a dementia patient like 6 times because the guy couldn't remember and kept calling. When he spoke up about it, they told him it wasn't his place to have an opinion
>>
>>106518397
Oh also. Same CEO allegedly would bring suspiciously young girls into the office on rotation. Like changed on a weekly basis type thing. Same guy was accused of having a coke addiction. There's something super suspicious about that whole sect.

What is the point of transcoding, just download a shit version for your trash tier devices and use the 4K/2K/1080p for everything else.
>>
>>106518628
jellyfin does live transcoding so that your poverty device can use the same file as your real devices, since it's all being accessed over the network anyway.

So I have lots of old GPUs laying around. I'm thinking of using the biggest model on my best GPU out of the extras that can fit it with an okay context (4k or 8k). Then i'm thinking of a second GPU that I just run small models on for simple tasks like simple completions and shit, just so those are fast.

Does it make sense or should I just rely all on the big model?

I'm a programming novice taking some online courses. The courses have moved off c, but i want to keep what I've learned sharp, so I'm writing an amateur string library for personal use.

I made a linked list based function (properly frees all nodes after the linked list is transcribed into an array) that returns a pointer to a character array for dynamic string input and utilization back in main(). The array in main does need to be freed as well; put a reminder in the function docstring.

Are there any known safety edge cases for a strategy like this? Does it generally make more sense to save all of the work and just initialize arrays with way more space than needed versus allowing for completely dynamic creation? It just annoys me that char arrays need to be fixed size at compile time, and I wanted to see if I could work around that for increased safety and interactivity.

there is basically no real use case for a linked list, it just happens to be the easiest resizable data structure to write in C

I think the linked list is bad bullshit was promulgated by bjarne himself so it became popular (in favor of vector… have you seen the performance of realloc???). However, it’s bullshit.
One day you’ll realize that the insane bloat from modern software is due to faddish trends like that.
Much like object orientation itself is now coming to an end as one of the longest running fads.

Lmao at freetards
If you ship your DLLs, you can expect Windows to not break your shit in the vast majority of cases. Windows programs from 20 years ago work just fine. There's nothing that gets "outdated".
The licensing of Windows libraries is a lot freer than on Linux too. You are allowed to statically link MSVC standard libraries if you want to make sure the user doesn't have to install the library.

Who was the retard who posted that image?

Rust is written in Rust
most Lisp implementations are written in Lisp
Fortran impls are written in Fortran
Pascal impls are written in Pascal
OCaml impls are written in OCaml
Haskell impls are written in Haskell

Every time you have a decent. not shitty, not toy, language, the implementations end up being written in that language, not C.
