Just submitted my first nontrivial PR to a decent-sized repo. Basically just a bunch of awkward low-level string ops no one else wanted to do for months. Hoping to build enough of a presence on GH and enough of a portfolio composed of real commits that employers stop giving me perfunctory compliance interviews (I'm a "disabled veteran") and take me seriously despite the fact that I've got a GED. I'll probably have to do this for the next four years until I'm "entry-level" but fuck it I'm not going to school.

everybody cries about Firefox but not enough people do any meaningful work on it or its forks. FOSStards need to learn that money is vital to developing good software, and earn a shit ton of it in business to support their development efforts.
>b-b-but money corrupts
YES, it does! But a proper business model would mean that you could actually stand a chance of forking and maintaining a fork using a team of hired developers!! More developers on the corrupt side != cannot keep up with their development efforts

Any of you guys know how to inpaint in comfyUI without the whole image losing quality after a couple of passes? I'm trying to edit several small parts of an image but after 4 or 5 passes the image as a whole starts getting noticeably blurrier, even in parts that were never edited/masked on.
Any nodes/workflows that could solve that?
>>
>>107013484
from what I recall, LanPaint can sort of do it. Generally when you go to/from VAE there is quality loss, no way around it. LanPaint tries to do a smart thing, which is preserving the original image and just replacing the masked part (more or less).
>>
>>107013503
What I'm confused about is how did A1111/Forge use to do it. I switched to comfy months ago for several reasons, but the fact that such a staple function AI generation is so hard to get right with comfy and so simple in the older, arguably less potent work environments is crazy.
I'll check your recommendations along with some other things, thanks.

No anon. You have to keep pestering Facebook and not give up. Email them, use free legitimate services like https://yourdigitalrights.org/. That’s the free option. The other option would be to hire a legitimate takedown service provider but it’s costly, requires some legal and power of attorney shit. And, if you don’t do enough research, you can ultimately end up working with a scammer and kiss your money and identity goodbye.

Let me know how things go and stay safe.

I often suspect the only people who have a problem with the 8350 installed it in a board that couldn't handle it VRMwise, because that 125w mf will throttle to 1.4GHz when the VRM gets hot and the games will stutter, but if you put an FX-6300 on the shit motherboards, it runs perfect, so AMD shouldn't have let people install whatever chip on whatever board, because it made people think the CPU is shit when they're literally putting the highest end parts on the lowest end board, which would never fly in Intel land.

I bought an Nvidia FX5200 back in the day lol.

Also bought an Akai Miniak synthesizer (rebadged Alesis Micron basically), it's not that it's bad per se, but I'd have been much better served by getting a MIDI controller instead.
>>
>>107013328
I had a Compaq dc7600 with this that couldn't play Halo 1. After infinite fucking with it I found out the Intel graphics on the motherboard were faster. The system had a pcie slot but I found out it did not have enough power for a graphics card (8400GS) and it's only use was for a funky riser card to use multiple displays. HP also cuntlocked the bios so you couldn't upgrade from the Pentium 4 even though it was made well into the core 2 era
>>
Bought a Thinkbook 14 G7 earlier this year.
Overall the laptop is amazing. Divine keyboard (aside from the Copidor button and non-working touchpad toggle in Arch), great specs, lightweight, and aluminium top with GOOD plastic bottom.
But.
It had a Ryzen APU, 45W, and the cooler just couldn't keep up with it. I literally had to manually throttle it down 700MHz just to keep it from exploding. Holy fuck, this is the first time in a long time that I wished I bought Intel instead (there was a Core Ultra 125U model, it didn't overheat at all). Ended up selling it for 60% of the price in September.

What TV you /g/uys got? Are you happy with it?

I got myself a 48" Sony OLED the other day and I really love it. My only issues with it are how the auto brightness barely works, so I have to navigate through the settings every day pretty much. Also sometimes the audio cuts out when I'm playing certain games on my PS5, but that might also be the console's fault.
I also wish it didn't have GoogleTV, but I'm sure all smart TVs spy on you nowadays anyway.

I'll probably be disappointed by the remote as I found out they don't put the new simplified one in all of them (I only care about navigating tv menus and switching input to hdmi)
current is a pretty old 40" samsung lcd (pressumably ips, given the viewing angles)
it has gotten some blue spots that are very noticable at times, but my main gripe is the insane input lag
normal browser/windows usage is borderline unbearable
