Also the aliexpress couplers are pretty good and even if they aren't as good it's better than having nothing at all.

>be pattern matching autist>solve captcha too fast>it thinks im a bot>have to do another oneautists are like robots so the captcha is working.
>>107618671I strongly dislike the 5-stage letter ones.When the new captcha first hit, I defended it on the basis that it reduced cognitive load of the captcha, because the old word slider presented a single difficulty: switching from writing coherent language (your post), to scanning the captcha for graphemes. These tasks require the same neural paths so it's jarring, like trying to drive a stickshift with one arm (poor analogy but you get the idea).The new system is excellent when it uses symbols because general gestalt symbol recognition is far faster in the brain and can be "offloaded" so to speak so that it does not interfere with the train of thought. In anything, I noticed that pure symbol captchas let me better organize my thoughts continuously so my next post was already half-composed in my mind before I even hit submit. Word captchas are just like suddenly hitting a red light on a freeway (second car analogy lol)Anyway, the tweaks the new captcha has gone through over the past couple days have been disappointing, and if they increase the number of grapheme-based tests then the advantage previously offered will be lost and we'll just be right back to captchas being annoying taxes on a white man's actions. It's the classic problem society has always faced: the need to increase "security" resulting in the pervasive increase in burdens and reductions of convenience/liberty on those the system is alleged to protect.I'm accompanying this post with a frog to show that many of the users on this site are pathological underaged robots who are incapable of processing complex ideas and opt to remain kneejerk ego-driven response mechanisms. I'll know that anyone replying to this post complaining about the frog doesn't have an opinion worth considering and it will save me time in rank-ordering reply worthiness (my time is valuable).

I have an older model Truly Ergonomic Keyboard (see pic). This is one of my favorite keyboard designs. It's not perfect but I can easily see myself using it until it wears out.I really like the layout, so when I looked up the latest Truly Ergonomic Keyboard model, I was disappointed they discarded this layout. I probably won't get another keyboard from them unless I get my shift and ctrl keys back in the same place.I am looking around for a decent split keyboard. Is there one where I can match the core features of this layout if I customize the key bindings?• modifier keys to the left of A and ;• extra keys down the middle (or left and right halves of a split keyboard) for the index fingers9• buttons for both thumbsI like how this layout is symmetrical. I don't really care for the independent arrow keys though.
>>107619393>• modifier keys to the left of A and ;• modifier keys to the left of A and right of ;
>>107619393I can build you a dactyl. Layout won't be identical of course but it should tick the boxes you want.

will intel save us or will they chase AI like all the other retards
every game worth playing was released prior to 2004you don't need a $48,000 dollar gpu to play them
what happened to amdthey used to compete with nvidia years ago, now they are completely irrelevant and forgotten and people who want an alternative to nvidia would rather believe in Intel entering the gpu market or chinks making competitive gpus out of nowhere
>>107618580>the Philippines used to make GPUs?The image is a CPU. There was a time where CPUs came on a board and the board slotted into the motherboard:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slot_1https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slot_AAs for the location, the chips aren't fabbed there. Instead that it is where the silicon was shipped to be and are assembled (put on the card or now in a package) and tested. For many years Intel did this in places like Costa Rica and Malaysia.
>>107618811NVIDIA got too big because of they succeed creating a bubble (Bitcoin and AI)AMD should try to invest in other sectors like NVIDIA did.
>>107618153Looking at their tech I genuinely don't think they CAN chase AI. They're behind AMD by a long shot on that who's behind Nvidia. They'd have to go full force in and honestly it'd just be smarter for them to use what they have right now, and improve it to carve a larger piece of the PC market out.
