why the hell would I spend so much on a phone? I paid like 82$ after shipping/tax for my Moto G Stylus 2025 128G, then paid 60$ for two months of the StraightTalk plan to get it unlocked, and thats it, it has a 3.5mm jack and a microSDX slot, I don't need anything more.

finishing up rewrite of my compiler, not too many features left to add back in. looks like my kernel should compile just fine and roughly 3/4 reduction in codegen size which is exciting
the previous compiler was so written so poorly it was easier to just rewrite the whole thing than to debug it kek

OpenAI's models are unironically better than Anthropic's. Claude attracts the retarded vibe coders, GPT works better for actual professional work.
>>
>>108515971
I'd be more worried if it wasn't for open source/local models being as good as they are now and continuing to improve at a steady rate. I'd prefer for all LLM bullshit to be magic'd away forever, but its not that bad if its possible to rent space to run other models or run them locally yourself, at least then people aren't locked into corpo models for basic tasks. Even some of the less impressive small local/open models now are better than flagships from years ago.
>>
>>108520573
Open models are godsent in keeping the field sane, though current models being paired with crawlers makes feature parity a bit harder to achieve. Now only if there was some proper competition in inference capable hardware.

vvc is designed for mpeg la's existing stakeholders that aren't streaming to the lowest common denominator and so they have standards to live up to. av1 is so impractical that even reencodes of png-esque anime where blobs and smears are all but baked in refuse to adopt av1 despite the massive shilling campaigns within their own tranny community.
vpx and av1 see no practical usage outside of goyslop. that includes fourchan with its 4mb limit.

You assume that all positions require the best, which is far from true. Sometimes putting the best into just a good position is sabotaging the best, sometimes "worse is better" because of nature of subject matter, etc. But also nutrition and social connections do not always work the way you think. Lowlife lifestyles can actually make people better at certain things than highlife. As a simple worldwide-known example, that mathematician guy who lives like a bum and got nobel prize for his work.

This year's Debian Project Leadership election has only ONE candidate and it's a Pajeeta (Sruthi Chandran):
>She is inactive on the mailing lists, and her Salsa profile is private so we can't even see what her coding contributions are.
>She's run for DPL 4 times before; lost each time
>Her entire platform is just about diversity and bitching about cis males
>She intends to formally incorporate Debian in the US, which would force Debian to introduce age verification
Her only claim to fame is organizing DebConf23, an event where a Debian developer literally fucking DIED because basic health & safety measures were not followed.

A much more qualified candidate was hospitalized during the nomination window and couldn't apply in time, yet she has refused to reopen nominations.

Debian is FUCKED unless the Debian developers all vote NOTA (None of the above).

i use these little fellas + a sub on the floor. its like pulling teeth to find shielded monitors near me for a reasonable price but they sound good enough to do the dogshit music that i make. Got them at the thrift store for ~$10 as a surround sound system so i have 5 more in a box in case something ever happens to these ones.
Its worth having a subwoofer even if you have monitors imo. Just to touch the low end and fill everything out. No need to go full nigger in an acura with it.

Every single game with Denuvo has been bypassed
Bypass is available for all denuvo games on day 0

Irdeto is seething hard and saying more invasive DRM is coming. I'm guessing they will demand kernel level access in later versions of Denuvo.

Will Microsoft allow them that?

Just recreate windows 7 but with all the new technological features and device support for current hardware, Directx, HDR and whatever shit so it all just werks and remove all the pointless bloatware and ai garbage.

We can dream...

Gut all the AI slop features and code. Gut all telemetry. Hire older white programmers to write actual code to replace any required features. Focus on stability, security, and being as light weight as possible. The goal should be the OS should not get in the way of using programs.

Physics don't work like that, it was glitch on the temperature sensor + temperature chip. Happens all the time when you have such analog to digital converters around:

>have a kitchen scale
>place something on the scale
>the number jumps to some high number for a split second (didn't even slam it on the scale)

>have a chink moped with a shitty digital dash
>the RPM reading jumps around regularly
>the speed reading jumps around regularly

>have a digital caliper
>move it
>the reading jumps around somewhat

So, i have to assume the worst? I have to bavkup my apps?
>>
My work assumed someone was stealing because a box of sandwiches went missing (most likely it never arrived on the truck but was labelled as having arrived since stealing an entire box isn't possible unless multiple employees were in on it). So my manager decided to install annoying as fuck cameras literally all over the back of the store. Now I can't feel at peace or even take a quick 5 minute sitdown without feeling like I'm being watched and will get written up. I'm trying to find ways to hack the cameras since I know it's pretty easy for most IP cams.

Anyone have any experience hacking 3xlogic Cameras or their Vigil client? I want to constantly be taking them down, even on my days off just to piss off management.
