REMINDER: You have a moral and ethical duty to use software that protects your privacy, because doing so normalizes the use of said software for others, thereby enhancing the privacy of everyone. Refusing because you have "nothing to hide" is the same type of moral failure as supporting censorship and free-speech crackdowns because you don't personally have any opinions the government dislikes.

>His probation would be conditional on his agreement to undergo hormonal physical changes designed to reduce libido, known as "chemical castration".[172] He accepted the option of injections of what was then called stilboestrol (now known as diethylstilbestrol or DES), a synthetic oestrogen; this feminization of his body was continued for the course of one year. The treatment rendered Turing impotent and caused breast tissue to form.[173] In a letter, Turing wrote that "no doubt I shall emerge from it all a different man, but quite who I've not found out".[174][175]

Actually, Linux is just as bad, if not worse than macOS in that regard. ABI compatibility in userspace gets fucked up all the time. The kernel puts so much energy into not breaking userspace, then userspace just says "fuck that" and breaks itself every few months. Open Source is required on Linux, binaries literally don't work... for long.

At least you can run software in a namespace with an entire copy of an operating system, but that makes WinSxS look efficient in comparison.

I would like to make a chrome plugin to block all Jeet content from the net. No more youtube videos where you are greeted by their submissive but sneaky nasal voices. Auto dislike and block channel and skip to next vid. No more shit tutorial sites with stolen content in Google results. No more news from poo-times or shitholestan-news. The question is, how do you make a blacklist based plugin like this being accepted and contributed to in the plugin store?

Fuck China. The only reason they let you post anything on their platforms is division of the west. Tiktok was specifically instructed to promote BLM, MAGA and other extremist shit. If you browse Chinese version Tiktok, in their homeland any government critical content is blocked and the poster payed a visit by the police. Also fuck Putin for that matter.

My plan right now is to find an accent recognition AI on huggingface, let users submit the youtube channels that they visit. if the channel has not been processed before, download 30 seconds of a video from it, analyze and assign it to a region. users should be able to whitelist content only from "Native American or British English", "Euro ESL English" etc. I think as long as I use whitelists instead of blacklists it will not be deemed racist.
>>
And for anything non-Youtube I think there are enough blocking plugins already. What would be nice is to auto-downvote and block all indian Redditors though

hello and help
i have a linux mint distro. steam games won't boot from a different and used internal storage driver where operating system of windows located with pre-installed games via its steam's client. adding those games via linux's steam client storage setting didn't help, even installing new games on this used drive via linux's steam couldn't boot games. however, installing games on its original parent driver where linux mint installation is located, if i ever know which driver it is, works fine thanks to wine prefix translation
is it because those used storage drivers using ntfs filesystem rather than linux's ext4 so wine prefixes cant properly translate them? how can i resolve it? formatting on linux? and how can i separate one large 2TB storage drive into 2 and can i format one of them to use ext4?
>>
>>106664063
wrong general, niggo
but yeah, Wine doesn't particularly like NTFS partitions formatted and/or chkdsk'd by Winblows iirc although this might be outdated info
can't elaborate further due to Wagecucksday
