I'm past my forties and in an age where I may be found dead of an heart attack, I don't want the people who have to deal with my hardware to find out too much of my porn, even if it's vanilla type of it. I also have audio recordings of my sex encounters with prostitutes that I'd like not to be known. So I have some Veracrypt encrypted files for monger recordings and porn. Probably I have some video here and there not encrypted on my disks but the most of it is hidden.
I haven't found a better way to have it hidden but still available, password is the same for all files, I'm hiding from my relatives/friend and not from governments.

I game on openSUSE all the time but my GPU is AMD. The package manager is zypper which looks a lot like apt but it supports .rpm packages instead of .deb packages. I don't know how much of a hassle it is to install Nvidia drivers but otherwise it works nicely for gaming. I have Vega 64 which is 8GB. Two monitors with different refresh rates and resolutions and they work flawlessly with Wayland. I can watch Youtube from my second monitor while playing a fullscreen game on my main monitor.

Because Nvidia has focused on neural-based tech for the 50 series. They even reconfigured their cores for it, giving every core INT/FP32 mix capability...BUT only specific 2x INT instruction acceleration that benefits its neural tech like NTC (texture compression) and neural shaders (this is the big one), which will both become the future of graphics programming whether people like it or not. You won't see a benefit to your 50 series card until maybe next year or the year after as you need to give devs time to build with it.
