There will be plenty of misinfo, the question is who gets to dish it out.

After Maduro got a free ticket to New York, what are the chances that the Iranian rulers changed all their locks?
Plot twist: all the new locks were sold by a straw company and made in Tel Aviv!

it'll never be perfect, but satellites are the only tricky part. fly helicopters around to locate dishes, give big cash incentives to narcs, and drag people out of their homes and disappear them if they get caught with starlink or anything else.

Thoughts on plaintext configuration formats like toml, ini, json, et al.

I need to store strings of relative simplicity, maybe 1 layer of nested element.

thing2

considering writing a stupid simple parser as well

Okay well it turns out that swift is just really bad with recursion, there's no way to make it faster than ~55ms unless you switch to a stack.

Taxes in form of bailouts.

What either no one realizes or wants to acknowledge (emperor's new clothes) is that this whole AI shtick is NOT for the betterment of society or anything.
It is to build an AI surveillance infrastructure / big brother to forever cage the broader society.

I just downloaded Linux for the first time to get away from Windows bloatware and I had to input 7 commands in the command line to install ProtonVPN including one to download a separate program that allows system tray icons.... is this really the best we have? Tor, what the actual fuck is going on:
>Almost ALL of the guard nodes are in NATO countries like Ingerland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Finland and the US
>3 relay families own more than a THOUSAND nodes (niggers like family:1D57EFEA3442E6(4chinz thinks this is spam, just delete this and the other parentheses)8993E7C21E7(nig)C1F350E8(fuckniggers)3BFFAF9, family:FC326586B78(nig)C91CE7199528B(kekerald)82163FD4FB(fuckthespamfilter)189D57(this one family has an 18% exit probability), and more than 600 nodes called "Quetzalcoatl" with the same contact info and has a 12% exit probability)
>Most of the time you get a circuit with Germany -> Random cunt -> Germany or Netherlands -> Random cunt -> Netherlands
This is it? It's ogre? Can snowflake proxies at least solve the circuit problem? (more than 100k snowflake proxies are active from the browser addon alone)

>if you think about what TOR fundamentally is

a way for agents operating in hostile countries to exchange encrypted information anonymously online?
this would also explain why they made it open source and let the masses use it (adding noise to the network), so in theory, there shouldn't be any backdoors unless they also want to compromise the security of their own field agents
>>
Tor has gone downhill since silk road went down and has been unusable fed shit since the coof you're better off setting up a vps or two and routing couple of proxies through
>>
>>107891081

This story is obviously false, because letting people use it also means letting spies from other countries use it, against USA. Do you seriously believe the US gov was ok to share their toy and went "Here, you commies and stuff, just download this and we won't be able to detect your spies in our country, LOL." ?
It's just impossible. Of course it's a lie. And of course Tor users were never really anonymous.

New to troonix, using linux mint, trying to install mpv since I want to try it out, apparently the package mint uses in its repository is outdated, they reccomend using the helper scripts to build it but I have never done this before and have no idea what im doing or whats going on. running "sudo ./install" ends with "autoreconf: error: automake failed with exit status: 1"

is it worth figuring out how to do it the autistic way if the way the want you to install it is poorly documented? do i just use the old version in in the repository?
>>
>>107895085
What do you mean outdated? That is the whole point of Mint. Just install the one from the repository and be done with it.
