Is there a way to streamline the ripping process: insert a link -> dump your PSSH -> download audio and video stream as well as subs via the mpd -> get widevine keys with PSSH from some shady site -> decrypt and mux files with widevine keys -> watch movie

Right now I have to do the first part in the browser and then switch to the terminal. Wondering if I could do everything in a terminal.

When do you idiots start to realize, that they are not selling products to consumers. They are selling "visions" to investors. The consumer is only there as a surface for projection that someone actually would use that shit. Sort of a stage prop.
I mean honestly, this has been going like that for a while now.
>>
>>107834516
>Why does it seem like they're trying to kill Windows on purpose?
Because they know completely that regardless of what they do users are vendor locked over the software they use and lack of technical skill(a lot of people dont even know what an OS is). They could make it turbo cancer aids and people would still keep using it.
So why bother?

Yes, r6rs was a misguided vista-like release, which was somewhat corrected by r7rs, so you can stay with r5rs or r7rs, but r6rs and r7rs (large) is where they dumped the slop.

I want to believe you, but I can't seem to find any proof of that online. I was actually thinking of buying one and slapping rock box on it but would fucking hate that shit it I couldn't change it. Anyway seems you can use this to change it https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/LogoSwapper
Other than that, you can probably just look around the root director of the rock box install, look for the boot up image and replace it that way.

Yes. They're not as good as conventional headphones, but if you just need something light that sounds "good enough" (they actually sound surprisingly good, tbqh) and doesn't have to be in-ear buds then they're pretty nice. Especially if you need to hear your surroundings.

Just don't expect to get the same sound quality as regular headphones.
>>
They're the most comfortable type of audio you can get by far
They've completely taken over all my casual headphone use time just because I hate having shit obstructing my ears
Plus they don't get worn out
I've been wearing mine for 10 hours a day the entire year and they're one alcohol wipe from looking brand new, something you can't say about any headphones that naturally accumulate skin oil and ear wax

youtube re-encoded all their videos to save space around the same time that google cleared our old accounts and shit on gmail and other services (they own youtube and also cleaned out a lot of abandoned YT accounts). the bitrate on lower resolution videos now is LESS than it was when they were initially uploaded and served.
>>
My god this board is retarded
>>
>>107826433
As per usual it's a gray area. I think it's objectively confirmed that pretty much all streaming content over the years gets degraded in quality, YouTube has multiple times been caught lowering the bitrate and absolutely botching older videos to save on space, and especially if you're a smaller channel your videos will look like garbage. On the other hand there's also the fact that if you aren't used to higher standards like a higher screen you don't and can't know you're missing out so things look good to you. I used a 1280x1024 screen until early 2010s and absolutely loved it, didn't realize how shit and blurry it was until I got a 1920x1080, thought that it was perfect, then in early 2020s I upgraded to 1440p and now I feel like 1080p is blurry but it also sort of makes older videos on yt even worse as many of them are 720p or 1080p only and not in 1440p or 4k. But games look so much better and so does watching movies in 4K by QxR etc.
>>
>>107827433
I had CRTs at my first job back in 2010 lmao
>>
This is the answer, I've tested it years ago and I usually download the videos I like and archive them on my jellyfin instance.
