How pathetic is your life when the only gratification you receive is from calling other people capeshitters on an anonymous internet forum

I just bought a 32Gib 512nvme i7-9850H quadro t1000 with a 4k panel for $400 on eBay (and uncle sam fucked me for 40 in taxes and 20 in shipping)--and I am regretting it and wish I bought the cheaper $330 1080p 48gib option but bought this one because I thought that the 4k panel might be good since 1080p is a bit bad for split screen latex but am now regretting it since it will- Drain battery faster (might take up 20% extra)- Be a pain to use because I will be forced to set it to 200% scaling for a good experience with my external 1080p monitors (probably, I have never used 4k but xorg will likely strangle me too)- Cost more- Doesn't have as much ram- At 15.6" and normal sitting, I probably won't ever noticeI don't think it has been shipped yet but also don't want to try to return it since that might make me an asshole...I will have to go check if the seller even accepts returns...I am really crying over this...why is life so hard?

>>107738944Anon is lying--this thread is insightful in many different ways (just not how the title implies).
>>107738970>I think you heavily over estimate the amount of adults I have interacted with.I meant more so passive interaction, if that makes sense? Like seeing and maybe a quick word if need be? That might just be a USA-esque interaction though.>You can try to pretend to be the girl but you can't do the thing that may stop you from wanting to be the girl.If psychedelics were to work wouldn't that just be temporary relief? Of course, I intend on starting to have good hygiene too so that should help me feel better too.>Mostly it'd just be sad. Why? >>107739133>Why? Or maybe you do, who knows. You won't actually know until you try.But see the absurdity of the situation. You are afraid of your parents being mad at you for something and also are not afraid of ending your life. As if your parents being mad was worse than them finding out their son is going to turn into maggot feed.Exhaust your options first, dude. Before killing yourself try the wildest things you can think of. Try going full schizo. Going into a forest at 3 am. Seeing the sunrise in the middle of nowhere in the Nevada desert. Taking a month just to strike conversations with strangers. Getting on dating apps. Doing long distance running, rock climbing, D&D, paintball, rafting, playing videogames all day. Visiting prostitutes. Paying a domme to let you worship her and then peg you. Taking drugs (including roids while lifting). Going to jail. Live a little before killing yourself.
Qualcomm's most advanced ARM chips now rival the performance of the Apple M5. Why hasn't Qualcomm opted to open source the drivers, enabling the creation of robust ARM Linux laptops? Do they have deal with Microsoft?

Have you ever considered the possibility that some day normal consumer won't be able to afford a computer anymore? With GPU and RAM price increases, this nightmare scenario seems likely.Wireless Internet connections might also get so full of traffic that one day fast Internet will be a luxury as well.1. Give people cheap tech so they get dependent on it.2. When they're addicted, start ramping up the price + scarcity3. WinMe? I'm already learning ways to survive without technology. In a few years you might have to live without tech.

What terminal file manager do anons use?I'm on Yazi but I'm looking to leave it because it's clunky and annoying.
>>107738822It was a meaningless criticism. I'm bullying you because you're stupid. I want to see what comes out of the stupid computer.
>>107738822config bloat = big bloated retarded configuration full of meaningless settings, shit isn't exposed to the user.no config bloat = everything is explicitly defined, only the shit that's happening is there.Nothing with a config file beats a case statement, in this respect, where every case is just a command you can edit. It's not possible to have a config file that explicit and declarative.
>>107738822Further, terminal file manager attempt to solve automating the process of running commands in the terminal by doing something else in a different language. My solution literally automates running commands in the terminal in the most explicit and easy to understand way possible.

Do you recall the first AI slop you felt for and thought it was real
AI won
This
now I simply assume everything is AI slop until proven otherwise
it was actually really early one dalle-2 abstract generated stuff that i thought someone was making with photoshop.Discovering it was AI generated at the time seemed neatand then i realized what that meant and quickly dropped any interaction with AI anything
I got tricked by that stupid 4chan made webm of a cat looking at his female owner sitting in a bath. It's very convincing but then the cat does a dance and you realize it was AI all along.I'm pretty sure some anon reading this knows exactly the webm I mean and will post it.
DDR2 is still worth it only if it can YouTube 1080p.
>>107738533Can you play 1080p YouTube on that?
anons who think they can play 1080p youtube on old hardware probably aren't actually doing it without frame drops. with modern hardware you get literally zero dropped frames.
>>107738874Not from youtube.com but it can play 1080p h264 video just fine with VLC or mplayerI watch YouTube videos with https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/ppc-media-center-7x-youtube-streamer-downloader-convertor
>>107735998Google announced that starting February 1st you are required to use DDR3 RAM for 1080p.
>>107736864> and consumed significantly less CPU doing so.No? There was no hardware decoding in browsers yet.

>>107735804The AI scaleout is lunatic and completely divorced from reality. Despite that, technologically-impaired China has shown last year that it can still punch way above its weight without all that insanity and all the billions of dollars for the scaleout are not producing drastic increases in productivity. It's not quite the revolution that was envisionedThe nutjob banked everything on AI and will take down America with them when it all crashes down. Work on LLM's, of course, will continue.
