New version is out.

Also, why was my previous thread deleted? This is a software-based application explicitly engineered for operation within the computational and telecommunications framework of a handheld mobile device, ok? It is therefore unambiguously situated within the broader domain of contemporary technological systems, infrastructures, and applied digital sciences, and as such relevant to /g/.

Has anyone tried the other chans that are available in KurobaEX?
Are any of them worthwhile? The Lainchan is nice but slow and anal with moderation.
And a russian one I tried with the millions of dancing webms of russian Qts.
I don't remember which one it is I haven't enabled it now.

No, the criteria for LC interviews are different than LC problems on the website.
Most companies score you based on how many testcases you pass, if you have the optimal time complexity, and how fast your program runs.
So for example if you solve all cases, have optimal runtime, and beat 100% you'll get 10/10, but if even with optimal time complexity your program is still slow as shit they'll give you 9/10, if you pass 85% of cases you'll get 7/10, etc.
Then they pick the best candidate from that pool of scores.

This one is an enNIGma. I've tried all the tricks to actually figure out what the actual name is, it just does not work, I think the manufacturer fucked with the firmware or they are lying by omission.

Using lscpu didn't tell me shit, sudo inxi -M didn't help so good. It is impossible to figure out the exact name of this PC with the terminal. At least the specs are "decent" for the workflow.

It has 16GB of DDR4 @ 2667MT, the CPU is a Intel N95 @ 3.4 GHz, the GPU is fucked mate, it is Intel UHD graphics @ 1.2 GHz. Maybe once my Gentoo business is underway I might set the thing up as a home media PC or do some shitty homelab stuff. Still, it does work just fine for my usecase and workflow.

Listen, retard. Software engineering may be a tarnished term, but the fact remains that the development of software can follow more or less formal processes where diverse areas such as architecture, information theory, proof theory, and even softer areas such as risk management come together. I suppose you see yourself as having "common sense" or something because you throw everything under the banner of "programming" and call it a day, but what you fail to understand (because you likely are very naive) is that complex software does not materialize out of thin air, nor will it evolve in a desired manner unless you enforce principles. When you write code in basically any language you are already applying possibly decades old theory on computational modeling, software architecture, and other areas. The degree to which you take theory into consideration in your work on software design and implementation decides the degree to which you are a software engineer. Even applying others' solutions means understand them, their constraints, and their limitations. Not all programming involves software engineering, but software engineering encompasses much more than writing code in your room.

Nobody cares about your definition of engineering, retard. What matters is what makes money. A fucking prompt engineer is one of the most sought after engineers in 2025. You can adapt or you can keep complaining until you starve.

/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. Know all about NAS? Learn virtualization. Spun up some VMs? Learn about networking by standing up a OPNsense/PFsense box and configuring some VLANs. There's always more to learn and chances to grow. Think you’re god-tier already? Setup OpenStack and report back.

>What software should I run?
Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

De-botnet your life. Learn something new. Serving applications to yourself, your family, and your frens feels good. Put your tech skills to good use for yourself and those close to you. Store their data with proper availability redundancy and backups and serve it back to them with a /comfy/ easy to use interface.

At this point, I wont even use any desktop environment on linux if it isn't X11. Even XFCE is dead to me because it has wayland support. I will never support anything wayland based on linux.
