Or alternatively make the commit messages as short and vague as possible. "fixed Y", "added X", "refactored Z" are all commit messages I use regularly. You think it's a clear message when doing the commit but when you go back in history and it's all commits like that you can't find shit.

Is there anything that's uncensored for NSFW like NovelAI but can generate true photographic style and not drawn/rendered style? Also preferably it has an unlimited tier like NovelAI.

Me on the left

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine.

Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

Also what I never really got, from a privacy and security standpoint, is why I would trust some random repository or linux maintainers over a marker value company who has a lot more to loose? >"Vivaldi says their roadmap to 2026 it is not AI"
What is the deal with the Anti-AI derangement syndrome? I don't like to judge people, but the anti-AI seem to include an evenly distribution of furries, twitter "artists", people with funny hair color, and a poor understanding of economy.

>I don't like to judge people, but the anti-AI seem to include an evenly distribution of furries, twitter "artists",

because that's true, you literally see tons of retards saying 'ai slop' or 'robotic slop' or praising human 'soul' there and there, so retarded, none of them understand ai is still in baby phase, back in 2023 it barely could make hands or eyes or faces, and now we have a flood of furry porns made with online ai tools, there is over 2 million of porns made with ai generations, we have 5sec animations, we have sora, gemini, grok is getting better and so on and on, AI by 2027 will be common tool used by people in everything, of course if we eliminate problems like it making up bullshit, but so far grok and others seems to be pretty helpful when it comes for doing research, they can even help you learning other languages

The texture is wrong though, it didn't follow the instructions correctly. Sure enough it's trivial to fix and using AI probably saved the guy who was making this a lot of time, but every time I see one of these small mistakes I can't help but remember that some corporations are already trying to replace their workers with AI because they think it's perfect already. An incorrect texture for what seems to be a gta3 clone is completely harmless, but I'm worried when those small and easy to miss mistakes will start affecting more serious stuff.

it swapped the locations of the back and the bottom of the building. If you applied that texture to that model there would be a weird seam on the other side.

your comment's totally fair t bh. the agentic fantasy promised by people like sama just isn't here yet.
i do think some of the reactionary
>ai bad
stuff, esp in creative circles is approaching hysteria. i've seen a couple of other examples where people have provided this thing concept art and asked for trim sheets and texture atlases and it's gotten 90% of the way there for them. we're at the
>make ai that's a tool
part but there's an unwillingness to move past the ethical issues now, and i fear a lot of those people are actually going to left behind because the vast majority of the public has already moved past the ethics conversation

They've already ruined Canada, the cities being most hard struck. They have a deplorable attitude towards everyone (including jeets), are insanely tribalistic with their own, sex pests (you can see them oogling girls as little as 12 and women on the street), smell terribly everywhere you see them and they praise either a pedophile (Mohammed) or cow dung. I can't find a more proper description of hellspawn.

the near entirety at this point. It started in small parts, hiring Indians to do some complementary contract work, or as supplementary visas. They're cheaper and more slavish, employers like them.

Eventually these guys took over the engineering departments, and the mass outsourcing began. Soon, 90-95% of EVERY major corporate tech/engineering department is Indian. It's mass scammery.

Is there a safer embedded programming language than Rust?
81 replies and 7 images omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>107628709
The F35 written in C++ has less software issues than the F21 written in Ada.
>>
>>107633250
Lua is safer for embedded just like any other managed language.
C is not. C is well known for being unsafe with no means to make safe abstractions.

>The one time i saw someone doing Rust embedded, it was a complete shitshow that crashed all the time.

I'm using embedded Rust and don't have any reason to rewrite it in C.

The military doesn't give a fuck about availability.
If they have the choice between
>having buggy software that crashes jets and kills its pilot
or
>having functioning software, but a risk of a buffer overflow and getting hacked
They will choose the first any day.
Reliability of a software controlling a missile doesnt matter at all. If it has memory leaks, who cares? Its exploding by itself anyway when it reaches the target.

Especially American systems are on quantity not quality. The patriot missile defense system is utter shit, so they just spam four interception missiles per target. So three can fail.
The military is literally accounting for death. A soldier dying thanks to gear failure is a daily occurance and calculated for.
Cloudflare crashing the whole internet with Rust code is the system working as intended.
Death is the preferable option.
.unwrap() is overused by design. You dont just throw an exception, you panic and ACK yourself.

So if you use Rust for embedded, you must have a usecase where you prefer your device to be dead than to risk a sepctre style """ vulnerability""".
>>
>>107633468
We saw the same thing with Crowdstrike.
Surely any objective judging being would have abandoned it after it crashed all your systems.

But nope... nobody did... because the risk of dying is preferable to not having glowfag backdoors.
Surveillance is more important than having software that works.
