When i set the API to Chat Completion and the Chat Completion Source to Custom (OpenAI-compatible) just like on your image, i don't have a proxy password field. The only field that i can see is the Custom API Key, and i already tried pasting my Sans token there and it doesn't work. I tried with every single endpoint on the page. Was i scammed? Is my Sans token a fraud?

Why doesn't llama.cpp have a proper progress bar when loading the model?Surely the program knows how much of the model has been copied to the gpu.

I use QubesOS with detached boot partition on 2 duplicated USB drives with any data that rests on the SSD/HDDs being encrypted with LUKS2. Whonix gateway is proxied through a VPN qube to hide Tor IPs (can't hide communication patterns) without bridges since bridge IPs can be farmed. Sometimes Tor through I2P outproxy or vice-versa or with different anonymizing network overlays. Clients used for browsing are only opened in on-RAM ephemeral qubes with no access to permanent storage. Attack surface is quite minimum since no extra things added like USB mouse and no PV qubes (aside from sys-usb and sys-net) are used for launching HVM qubes with qemu stub domains unless very necessary and every other qube on the system gets shut down first to keep information leakage minimum. A veracrypt volume with hidden storage on a permanent qube for data storage and plausible deniability.what's your setup like?
>>107632189>systemd and a compromised kernelthose aren't even in the qube's TCB

>>107632361neither the browser or the OS kernel is trusted inside a qube. you sure don't know what security by compartmentalization is

Is it worth getting into 3d printing?it looks like a cool hobby but I don't know if people just forget about it after playing around for a month
>>107631174Well, I got a Creality K1C from a black friday sale, started printing some shit from printables and noticed even PLA is quite strong. Then I started designing shit in tinkercad, making a EDC tray and other random things. The freedom is that you just have to think about shit you would like and would like to buy, then realise that you can make it yourself
>>107629041Depends. It's just a tool for fabbing custom parts. If you /diy/ stuff a lot then 100% yes. Even if you just do computer and tech stuff it can be useful, like for printing brackets and mounts or fan shrouds. Just depends on how creative you get.
>>107629041>it looks like a cool hobbyDoesn't need to be hobby anymore. You don't have 2d/paper printer at home because it's hobby.I have 3d printer because I need parts.
>>107629041I'm just getting into it. I got an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max and it's big asf compared to everything else in the sub-$400 price range.>>107629231Mine is old-style a.k.a. can be a little bit bitchy to callibrate, but it can also measure its own printbed with 120 points (o algo) and do some other nifty things (frequenct sweep the whole flat to calculate a vibration compensation table) so I'm happy with it. Assembly piss easy. Can print "exotic" stuff like nylon but I'll just stick to PLA until I get a box to put it in and extra ventilation.
>>107629041I got one 5 years ago. There are long periods I don't use it, but it's a handy thing to have. Printing broken plastic pieces on a car, random hooks and other shit around the house... I've been thinking of getting a newer one since they're apparently a lot better but not sure if I'm able to justify it with my level of usage
