There's so much stagnation in mechanical keyboards especially as a rhythm game player. For one, most of the key strokes are too deep, creating a discrepancy between actual activation and bottom-out physical feedback, especially if you hit the key with different velocity. But by far the most annoying part is the fact that most of the time, the key release itself is louder than the key press, causing massive distraction in games where the release timing doesn't matter. If anything, the key press should be louder to signify the activation, and release should be as silent and unnoticeable as possible. This discrepancy gets even worse if you add any hind of rubber rings to pad the bottoming out. Also, I think there should be more innovation with different bottom-out designs for different amount of dampening vs springiness to conserve/return the energy. You could have some kind of strong secondary spring that serves as the bottom-out (with essentially no hard-bottoming out) so it can return all the energy, making the switch more spammable.

They used a really weird courier for one of my orders. I looked it up and it's some fly by night outfit run by Africans. The news did story on it. Their "warehouse" are run down old commercial spaces they rent and dump shit everywhere. Like torn deformed old boxes with the signature aliexpress grey-bagged packages spilling out everywhere. A shitty little desk in the middle of all of it with a woman sitting there. Looking up the comments online are really bad. Most courier services will inevitably have bad comments but this is worse. Just pages and pages of comments saying it's horrible. The tracking for mine so far is following what the comments have said. It's inaccurate. It doesn't make sense to begin with. It scanned out for delivery but it never arrives. Maybe a couple of guys will roll up one day and drop it off. At least that's what the comments say. This makes me miss the Indian couriers.
