How is this going to help? The shortage is RAM chips. Instead of buying scarce sticks, you're buying scarce chips and soldering them onto sticks.

I want it BACK
No I don't want it buried in shitty menus
No I don't want to use your fucking AI trash
No I don't want to press home for everything
Give me back the SOURCE BUTTON
>>

>>
cause, home is literally just source but with things that are not physical connectors listed, like apps or the onboard receiver. I know samsung smart TVs let you reorder the tiles so that the connectors are the first option, too.
>>
>>107678737
last tv i bought had dvb-t and dvb-s inputs, and you could press source to jump between inputs but you could only have one dvb source on the source list, so to switch between ant and sat you had to go into a deep menu.
that was in 2010. haven't bought a tv since, only buy digital signage displays now and have a dvb card server over upnp/dlna to local renderers.
>>
>>107678737

One of the things I like about Sony TVs is their remotes are cross-compatible over the decades. I can turn on my new OLED with the same remote as my old Trinitrons and vice versa. It also let me replace my remote with a slightly older model with buttons I want like a number pad.

The reason 4chan X endures is because the guy who sometimes calls himself ccd0 has kept break fixing it for like 8 years after he quit using this shitheap.
Say thanks.
>>107665471
Not all boards, but when the politically correct banned for saying anything ever thing got bad in the 10's, a lot of the boards on 4chan became the cumrags for people to get out all their racist/sexist/generally just too mad for the rest of the internet posts out. They kept posting on twitter. They kept posting on reddit. But their "contributions" to 4chan were just all the screeds they weren't allowed to make on other websites anymore. They never used 4chan for much else. So in the extreme you get boards like /gif/ that have become the retard bin for porn not allowed on other sites (incessant raceplay and racebait).
These days as twitter has become more liberal toward naughty words, I think the people who used to just use 4chan as their cumrag don't need to use it anymore.

That it often trading dynamics and clipping for loudness, to compensate for shitty speakers that don't go very loud.

>>107677607
>Cinema and broadcast isn't mastered to be as loud as possible, but to conform to some specified average loudness, e.g. -31.0 LUFS for dialog according to Dolby or -23.0 LUFS according to EBU Recommendation 128.
And if that doesn't translate to sufficiently audible volumes on your cheap speakers with the master volume turned all the way up? Also these standard levels don't apply to random home videos and amateur YouTube content.

It means create a "shared folder". You can use Android Samba Client and then use your file explorer app, unless google or your phone manufacturer screwed you over and you have to use a third party file browser.

You could use clonezilla.
>>
>>107678536
Some native file managers on Android support starting up a ftp server as long as you're on the same network, which you can then connect to via file explorer on Windows. It takes a few seconds to enable on the smartphone, and it has wifi transfer speeds. Might want to look into that
>>

you could also make a FTP server with FileZilla on your PC (.exe) and use mixplorer to connect and drop files and folders onto it

Yeah that was what I was afraid of. So you're recommending an actual two-wheel air compressor?

There's 100% sure burn-in in that monitor, but it's most probably unnoticeable, and have in mind that when you put the monitor to sleep it automatically performs the pixel refresh by itself, so at least once a day it's doing its thing even if you don't do it manually.

I have a glass balcony door right next at 90° to it, facing south, and on evenings sunlight hits the screen; matt screen would really suck. Glossy screens also have antiglare coatings, though effectiveness varies.
Btw, I'm using a matt screen protector on my phone rn. It's really just like matt paper: you definitely lose contrast/blacks, and sliding your finger even makes that paper like sound, but i kinda like it. For reading it's not an issue.
