Spotify has a popularity parameter from 0 to 100, 50% of songs have a popularity value of 0 and they are archived at half the quality as anything with a non-zero popularity. 0 popularity is something like under 5000 listens

If you backup just the stuff with 1-99 popularity you probably get a good signal to noise ratio and a reasonable and respectable archive of humanity's musical output for little effort

Don't buy a fridge, or don't buy a smart fridge?

I don't want a smart fridge, or even a fridge where 1/3 of the freezer is taken up by an automatic ice maker. I want a tall white box with compartments that keep stuff cold or frozen, nothing more. If I want to use a portion of the freezer to make ice, I'll put a plastic ice tray in it. If I want to trade more space for more ice making capability, I'll put more trays. If I want to know what's in my fridge, I'll open the door and use my eyes. If I want recipes for some of the items in it, I'll put those items and the word "recipe" into a search engine. And if I want an ad on my fridge, I'll tape it there.

Of those, only 17 had screens on the front, all are made by Scamsung, and all are thousands of dollars more expensive than the standard fridges offered. ITT we share helpful firefox user_prefs that make it better. I'll start.
user_pref("full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter", "0 0");
user_pref("full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave", "0 0");
user_pref("full-screen-api.warning.timeout", 0);
This removes the annoying banner saying press ESC to exit fullscreen every time you fullscreen a yt video.
user_pref("media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.video-toggle.has-used", true);
user_pref("browser.engagement.downloads-button.has-used", true);
With this in your user.js before you open the browser it won't popup instructions on obvious features. I have a pretty big user.js based on betterfox that disables telemetry and toggles all the settings the way I like them so it's completely configured on install without doing anything, and then I've added a bunch of minor quality of life conveniences like these. Share yours anons.

up to you, i have a potato pc(8gb ram + HDD) , whenever I download worth a few gigs, browser fucks for reason i don't know, same for chrome/edge/firefox/brave, so i just used them

e cores on at cpu that can go to 190w and even over 250w. make it make sense. with a bend cpu socket. needs high end cooling and high end ram to perform. the humble 7800x3d doesn't need any of it. if we didn't have good high end cooling intel would just produce fx 9590 all day.

This is well known. The drivers for the 50XX series have been shit since release and literally no release has improved them. 50XX series' only benefit over 40XX series is extra fake frames.

i don't think you understand what i'm saying, the 7800X3D was a scam, not all AMD CPUs are scams
the 9800X3D is OK, i would never pay $450 for an 8 core in 2025 but some people treat their rigs like oversized playstation replacements and they will eat that shit up
7800X3D has no cores and no IPC, also runs hot as fuck, it was a bad product and i'm sorry you got tricked by HUB
