>Are there any high-end wireless headphones
No. Audeze Maxwell is decent but it does clamp. You can stretch it by placing something between the earcups for a few days but I don't know how much it'll help. Maybe try clip on headphones like KSC75 instead.
>>
>>106503303
I see. I found something on RTINGs that looked at clamp force. It seems my current ones have a 0.5lbs. Thing is, I've also had the Logitech G432 in the past (ew I know), and that has a clamp force of 1.2lbs. My current Sony ones have a clamp force of 0.8lbs. So perhaps I was mistaken. I think the real issue is form factor. My Sony headphones can fit entirely inside of my Hyperx ones with a little room to spare. I can actually hear my pulse when I wear my Sony ones as well.

My milsurp steel desks are tough enough to support auto engines (two in my home machine shop have done so).

The typewriter storage area has ample room for cumputer and UPS if so inclined. No other desks are that rugged.

iTunes didn't even launch with a store, it was just a media player and CD ripping tool until the iPod 3rd gen came out
>>
>>106503307
the ipod really did have one of the best UIs for this kind of thing, and even that was a slog when your library got bigger than a few hundred songs. no built in searching or anything liek that right, literally had to scroll through long lists. the nomad was an absolute chore because it only had a tiny jog wheel on the side. friend of mine had a 20gb version which was a big deal in high school lol.
if you're curious https://youtu.be/YGchdMb02X4?t=360
>>
>>106503205
That makes sense. Apparently itunes didn't start selling music until 2003 anyway. I'd been using minidisc for years at that point and did the same thing. Missed the ipod entirely until I bought an ipod nano around 2006/2007. I recall keeping a windows partition around because libgpod was a buggy mess.

you could have hidden the thread like and adult but you decided to be a rule breaking edgy mcvirgin faggot instead and shitpost and look like a bitchmade weakling in the process.

are you really this buttgaped over the fact your art you drew was so shit you got replaced and not cant charge $200 for stick figures that look like shit? man sucks to suck at life so bad you're a nothing nobody never will be and you cant handle your station of inferiority in life.

I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

Immutable distros, Wayland, Flatpak, btrfs by default - all these features provide modern Linux experience that is easy to manage and hard to break. There is a reason why Valve copied this approach for SteamOS. Arch tinkertroons and Debianfags with outdated kernels will seethe and cope but that's the reality.

I know NOTHING about speakers, but I do need a set for my desk area.
I tried doing a cursory bit of research, but the speakers community seems rather convoluted and autistic and susceptible to snake oil.
What speakers do you have? Do you recommend them? What features should I care about if I 'just' want to listen to 'music'? Do I need stands? Right now I'm looking at the Ai41, as my budget is like $300.

Mate I didn't even know about most of that until just now. You can just plug them in and play music, the default flat setting of the eq is perfectly fine. Occasionally I use the built in EQ to boost or reduce bass, depending on if I want a bit more oomph or have to consider my neighbors.

i'd start with the fact that the error message says it has absolutely no idea what type was on the right hand of the equals sign at the beginning which means you did something very wrong with whatever variable/value's there and it's not a valid type and not the deduction errors that result
also you can't trust those little IDE error things, they frequently capture only part of an error message and usually not the important part
go right to the actual compiler invocation's output, it'll usually provide more coherent error messages

Anyone use a visibility buffer approach instead of a traditional deferred pipeline. The tldr is you write the triangle and object id to the display. Then when shading you can just do vetex pulling to get all the info you need. The advantage is you need less memory bandwidth. I'm going to try it. I like experimental techniques

you know that this is program for OSINT investigations, right? If you are too braindead to install python (which has GUI installer with exe) and then type a single command to download sherlock package, OSINT is not for you. I would say you are right if it was some crucial update for one's insulin pump, or a program to pay taxes, but it is not, and OSINT is not something that your average person should do.

Microsoft Edge feels so much smoother to use and consumes less battery life than all other browsers on Windows. It's allegedly because of some low level optimizations that they're doing. Why are the other browsers not at least trying to implement similar things?
>>
>>106501310
Because Edge literally runs at system level and is basically a part of Windows itself. Only it can get the kinds of optimizations it can get.

It's one of those chinese android "emulators" that you want to stay away from, if you're privacy-conscious
There are debloat guides for it (also for MEmu and LDPlayer), but one thing is debloating the android environment it virtualizes, and the other is not having the application datamine you and phone home to chinese servers on the windows side of things

You may want to give WSA a try, although MSFT-provided support has been discontinued since March this year: https://github.com/MustardChef/WSABuilds
Google also provides their own stuff with the Google Play Games beta release for PC - you'll be stuck with their games selection, however
>unless you use the developer builds, which should allow APK sideloading
Otherwise not that many choices left that you have: maybe try getting Waydroid to run under WSL2 for lulz?
>>
>>106501495
That's why the guides say to replace its launcher with something like Lawnchair and use a root-accessible file manager like MaterialFiles to replace its own. Also needing to make the .exe read-only so it can't constantly disable the telemetry removal, so it's kind of a ballache to actually keep working correctly. But I hear it recommended because it's pretty performant for games and shit otherwise.
