>Florida prosecutors weren’t forgetting: The U.S. Navy discharged Jeremy, and when he reached U.S. soil, authorities arrested him. He eventually pleaded no contest to two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12 while he was under 18. His defense attorney asked for less than a year in the county jail. The prosecutor asked for 15 years in state prison.

This is not a drill, it's finally confirmed that China has a working EUV prototype since early 2025, it's just undergoing testing and verification right now, expected to enter large scale production by 2028-2030.

>In a high-security Shenzhen laboratory, Chinese scientists have built what Washington has spent years trying to prevent: a prototype of a machine capable of producing the cutting-edge semiconductor chips that power artificial intelligence, smartphones and weapons central to Western military dominance, Reuters has learned. Completed in early 2025 and now undergoing testing, the prototype fills nearly an entire factory floor.

>The availability of parts from older ASML machines on secondary markets has allowed China to build a domestic prototype, with the government setting a goal of producing working chips on the prototype by 2028, according to the two people. But those close to the project say a more realistic target is 2030, which is still years earlier than the decade that analysts believed it would take China to match the West on chips.

>The breakthrough marks the culmination of a six-year government initiative to achieve semiconductor self-sufficiency, one of President Xi Jinping's highest priorities. While China's semiconductor goals have been public, the Shenzhen EUV project has been conducted in secret, according to the people.

I see so many videos on YouTube get deleted, what's a good site for finding at least the titles deleted/removed videos like these?
I was able to search the URL on archive.org to see it was a Miku concert which is what I thought it might have been, but there are so many other pages I end up on with the same problem that don't show on archive.org

Is there a plugin I can use to generate some kind of log to store the watch?v=videoID alongside its name so I can keep a history of at least things I've watched?

Selfhosted GitHub Actions will become paywalled in 3 months.
Your CI/CD pipeline that runs on your own selfhosted hardware will become a paid feature thanks to M$.
Now anons, will you switch to Forgejo Actions? Will you selfhost your own git forge?

Is vim actually beneficial for programming or is it just one of those things autists keep promoting just to be different just like they do with linux?
>>
>>107593661
Vim allows you a very streamlined workflow without ever taking your hands of the keyboard, if you learn it right. But before you learn all the things you want to do in finger muscle memory it's not intuitive and learning curve is steep.
And it's very customizable, or so I've hear, but again not very intuitively.
If you're working in a Linux environment you probably should get acquainted with Vim on at least a very basic level because it's the default terminal based text editor on many systems.
>>
>>107593661
>like Linux
Yes, it's as useful as Linux
So very
people don't talk about it to feel 1337, but because it's actually useful
if you don't understand Linux it's your IQ problem
>>
Why is almost all useful software written in supposed midwit languages like C, C++, Java, JS, Python, Go etc. while “I am very smart look at me” languages like Haskell, Clojure, Lisp, Rust, ML etc. usually have a single example of real world success, if that? Are functional languages a psyop to keep White men from building things?
>>
>>107594542
You get useful software as a side effect of building any software. There's tons and heaps of midwit software next to the useful software.

>>
>>107593898
It's mostly being worked on by Hyperbola

https://wiki.hyperbola.info/doku.php?id=en:system:display_servers:xenocara

Do note that like the doas port for Linux it's missing some things. Since a lot of the security focused portions of OpenBSD's kernel have not been ported over to the Linux kernel. Every time progress gets made towards improving Linux in this respect another 9,000 new things from freedeskopt/systemd/IBM come that need to be hacked around and progress seems to stagnate again for awhile.

There is also a lot of good stuff happening in the Xlibre fork when I've checked in. Subscribing to the mailing list is a good idea for anyone interested in keeping up with Xorg improvements since nothing will ever come out of freedesktop's in the future.

I wanted to buy cheap lingerie for my wife on Temu, but it turns out they activated parental controls.
“You must provide us with your ID to view clothing online.”
And just by downloading an ID from the internet, it worked. It's already expired, and the guy is one-eyed, but the system doesn't care.

13.6 gigs of RAM dude here

>>107587500
I have 7 surf tabs open
3 mpv videos
11 feh images
2 xterm windows of nnn and htop
1 terminator terminal
caja file manager
Gimp (without any of my plugins in use)
beeref
xfce

and I'm only at 5.6 gigs of 13.6 Gigs of RAM I have. While Windows 11 uses 3-6 gigs at idle sometimes. If I was still using nomacs, vlc and firefox like I did from 2020-2024 it would be much hugher. Though I do use firefox some places. Suckless tools made me get the most out of my RAM so when the few extremely heavy GEGL plugins of mine are in use (gegl:GoldText 2, gegl:AnisoPatch, gegl:BloodyIce) they won't slow my OS down to a crawl. Anyone who doesn't optimize RAM is a dumbass.
