>>

Optimus maximus. It's a giant expensive pile of shit but it has wider key spacing than 19.05mm which has been standard for keyboards for as long as keyboards existed.
>>
>>107590683
Wtf does that even mean? Just use an F1 or get a Glare or the +84 with a copper bottom, you'll have an absolute brick of a keyboard. Use MX Blacks with 67g springs and your gorilla hands will feel at home.

The bots and browns praising the new captcha disgust me to no end. Partap Davis still being alive after he's been doxxed 3 times shows how browns suck each other's dicks and will always put a brown in charge no matter how bad he is because "he's one of them" because a white person in charge would actually expect standards and to turn 4chan into a quality place and browns don't like adhering to standards themselves, often times they push others to be just as standardless and degenerate as them to have a hivemind and common ground. They can have 20 different religions/boards, but they all must be shit. Dumb brown people are easier to control and accept lack of standards/civility/civilization. Reddit has infested 4chan and reddit is a communistic place and commies are mentally retarded. Their whole system is communistic and changes your mind. I tried to post for 1 hour on Reddit and i noticed I couldn't post anything due to lack of karma. I noticed how after just 1 hour my brain was degrading to say dishonest unintelligent popular accepted things all while Redditors were harboring negative opinions behind the scenes like ragebaiting witch hunters who piled up their hatred due to lack of honesty, control, morality, standards.

that was my thought too, this seems like one of those situations where awareness is actually appropriate
people might not be aware that images like this can be fake, and so awareness could help. But sadly the powers that be have chosen the alternative, an attempt to control the vectors in which these visual lies are created
I suppose it was inevitable, it'll be a cold day in hell when our keepers encourage us to be critical and question things, we might start questioning the wrong things

Macbro here. I'm bicurious when it comes to computers, which means I have two linux VMs installed. Arch and fedora. I try to do as much as I can from my bash terminal, but I still prefer fedora because it just looks nicer. Arch looks like it comes from a time when my dad was still sorting punch cards in grad school.

I don't really see the point of linux, though. I'm way more used to macOS, so I just know where all my shit is. The programs are a lot nicer too- iMovie and GarageBand are the shit. And linux doesn't have anything like that.

I've always gotten the feeling that linux is mostly popular with people who aren't nearly as good with computers as they think they are, and my time using linux hasn't changed that. Also, the average linux user doesn't have enough self awareness to realize how unbearably fucking cringe they are all the time.

Starting to demonstrate a lack of technical understanding rivalling the idiot that decided the legislation was plausible without adding the words "selling point end-to-end encryption which would make it more difficult for uk security"
Because everything that uses security cannot be disallowed. It only impacts that which specifically markets to evade law enforcement...

Their "common"wealth, whose entire purpose was to ship stolen gold to the British island imploded. Their piracy business - pardon me, freebooter business - is also long gone.
Now the Brits actually have to work for their wealth themselves since they can't just steal it from other nations who HAVE actually worked for it. They even kicked out the Polish who harvested their fields for practically free. So they have to do their own dirty work, too.

The brits are now completely buttdevastated and don't know what to do. Someone has to blamed for this. What does a retarded person do when they're super mad? They make even more retarded decisions than usual. This is what we see.

I've kinda fallen for assembly on the PS2.
I want to keep doing things in it. I think if I spend some more time I will develop some better techniques for handling and manipulating data which would help me get through more of the problems. And I haven't really ventured into using the VPUs at all yet.
Being able to quickly put together visualizations to go along with some problems would be neat, too.
But I do want to move to a different platform for next year's AoC because I already have this routine and a platform I want to do.

bumping to say I finished technofeudalism, the last chapter was interesting because he talks about how Marxists don't like his thoughts on technofeudalism replacing capitalism because in Marxism, capitalism must eventually fall apart and be replaced by socialism and if it doesn't then organising the prolitariat would be impossible and he just says "Yes"

And then he copes with a proposal to have everyone own their own company or something, but I don't fault him for trying and giving people the benefit of the doubt ("Marxists" really try to believe that humans are not cattle, much to their detriment)

But yeah you should read it. Gonna read some fiction next, maybe some Dick (We can Remember it for you wholesale, or maybe Man in the High Castle)

This is the 4g.el output for those 3 posts, and it's slightly edited. I mostly unwrapped some src blocks so that it's easier to execute them.

Qt has really caught my eye, though I'm only *learning C++*

Is Qt worth learning? And is the Qt Creator a good IDE for developing in C++ in general, or do the projects usually orient around Qt and QML because you are using their ide which is for that?
>>
>>107590569
Qt is a mess. Full of non standard C++ extensions that now compete with actual C++ features like lambdas.
Just how many APIs for making HTTP requests does it have? They all suck in different ways, with entirely different foot guns.

It's nice in that it produces fast applications that look native (or as custom as you want if you're into that) and don't take 100MBs of RAM just for displaying a Window, but you're paying for that with your sanity trying to maintain invisible QObject lifecycles.
>>
>>107590595
How about just using it as an IDE solely for C++?

I actually cannot finger out which (Free)IDE i should be using. VS Code doesn't sound right, I've heard people shit on Code::Blocks, Eclipse seems like a Java thing... Clions is paid sub.

A lot of people simply say Neovim but that's a ton of set up

the trick is to read inside out just like maths
it is also nice that you can call literally anywhere you want as a function with whatever calling convention you like

like

uint32_t myfunc = 0x123456;
((void (__cdecl *)(int i, char* str)) (void*)(myfunc))(1, "abc");

and this will emit exactly the type of assembly you want and follow the calling convention
this is why C needs to be the first language because once you look at what u did in assembly and follow it and read about calling conventions assembly and registers and shit

you will understand how computers work
and only then you can start programming with whatever
