Not only that, but huggingface's own teams also convert the gated models into ONNX so there's absolutely no gating left (onnx-community and Xenova for example). You can't train with these but you can inference fine

They were for keeping up with subscriptions. Think of all your "favorites" feeds on all the social media sites you peruse, but all gathered in a single native application.

Search engines are still useful for finding specific websites, but information itself is indeed better handled by AI.

You may thank planned obsolesence for this twist.
>>
>>107727288
they literally crippled their search engine just so you feel the need to use their AI bullshit
I will NEVER trust LLMs. they are a glorified, unreliable autocomplete that can be used to mass control and brainwash people. sure, you could use search engines to do the same, but LLMs are worse in that sense.
>>
>>107727354
I had to deal with this when I got new contacts recently and my optometrist said almost the exact same thing (though timeline was different).
>>
>>107727309
No it isn't. AI fully replaces all other information technology. It isn't even a contest. AI is the future. If you are not enhancing all aspects of your life 100x with AI you are already left behind, Luddite.
>>
>>107727354
The AI is correct. You do not know what you are talking about, Luddite.
>>107727367
Indians will rule the world, Timmy. We already took your job.
>>107727398
LLMs always give you the answer you asked for. If there is a problem it is with you and your prompts, not the AI.
>>107727402
Use case for websites? AI replaces websites.
>>107727963
No, Google has always been bad. AI Overview is just better than anything that has existed before.

proprietary software apologists are sheep and cope with low intelligence by slopping "troon"/"jeet"/etc accusations around like a monkey throwing its shit. they can't figure out how to be productive with foss programs because they'd have to adapt to a different workflow so they just pretend it's not possible. i can be productive with any os or software but using anything other than my linux install is annoying and i'd never use anything else long-term

>>
>>107719043
80% and 65% are the sweet spots in that image. I personally lean toward 80%, but you can easily learn the smaller layout with some muscle memory for function keys and so forth
Numpad is redundant unc tech

I don't do data entry so I don't need a numpad, which should be on the left side if present anyway, but the nav cluster and the F keys are necessary
I find the ones like 75% and 96% too cramped, layouts with gaps between clusters are just easier to navigate without looking

I'll make the logo

also no it couldn't be started 5 years ago because zig makes breaking changes constantly so you can't really write stable software with it as the language will just change on you.
>>
>>107727793
i don't think OP's question is focusing on the Zig part.
>>
What better way to keep X going than to implement it in another meme language with barely any support or userbase!
>>
>>107727870
well X was being "maintained" by red hat so making a fork of it when there's an officially supported version wouldn't have made much sense since nobody was going to use it, even if everyone who pays attention knew red hat was intentionally trying to kill it. As soon as they stopped pretending to maintain it xlibre made sense so now we have that. This zig bullshit is probably just some autist rewriting shit in a memelang for no good reason but if anything actually happens with it there's a good chance it's some corpo sabotage embrace extend extinguish bullshit
>>
>>107727972
Someone probably hacked together a c2zig transpiler and/or use AI, and they’re going to go at it that way. Same scheming behaviour that Rust proponents used.
Anyone attempting such a stupid project doesn’t understand the first principles of how to go about accomplishing anything worthwhile.
