What would it take to manufacture CRTs on a commercial scale again in 2026 and the years to come?
Would it be more viable to buy existing IP/patent rights from the companies that used to be the leaders back in the day, or to re-develop the technology from scratch using modern means?

Everything has poor contrast under light, but yeah CRT is maybe not very useful as an outdoor display not what you'd want to use it for

Flicker isn't a thing at all that only happens on camera so apparently you havent actually ever even seen one in person but act like you know based on watching youtube videos

Coil whine is indeed a thing but its very faint and after you turn 20-25 years old it disappears

Giant, heavy
Okay those are actually valid arguments but its not like you need to be moving it all the time. How often do have you moved your television in last year? If its more than once you're doing something wrong
So this one, not really an issue either

The only problem is that they can be unsightly in a living room if you're one of those feng shui faggots that everything needs to be in harmony or whatever
But even that could be alleviated by building a nice cabinet for it, or sometimes even building walls to have a recess for the television

CRT flicker. You can see it with peripheral vision. My eyes hurt from prolonged use of crts. And I do hear whine. At least I heard it. Crts and plasmas suffer most from sunlight. And usualy rooms have windows.
Size and weight is still dealbreaker for most people. Where would you put it? Imagine 40 inch crt. You would need 3 men to carry it in. And for what? Ufo test? Most people dont care that much about retro games.
>>
>>107611847
>CRT flicker. You can see it with peripheral vision
Hmmm, i dont remember this being a thing but i cant say for certain now that it isnt, could be that it is but just never noted it.
>And I do hear whine. At least I heard it
I did too but im quite certain i wouldnt anymore as i'm already 25+, you lose the ability to hear it at 20-25
>40 inch CRT 3 men to carry
Nah those very rare 40 inch CRTs weigh 300 pounds so either one strong man or two regular ones is easily enough, def not three

But yeah the weight and size grows exponentially when the screen size grows so 40 inch TVs very uncommon dont remember ever seeing one quick google shows that Sony for example only ever made two models and didnt find if other manufacturers even made any

32 inch on the other hand was very common and easily carriable by one person I used to have one and it was of course bulky compared to anything today but its not like it felt gigantic it was just big

Its not just ufo test the colors were great too and blacks were actually black but its true that some expensive modern OLED for non gaming purposes is pretty darn great and indeed there is not many normie reasons to have a CRT
>>
>>107603126
that anon said better AND more cost effective

I have some spare hard drives sitting under my bed so Im going to build a NAS for them, thing is Im thinking its just going to be a long term storage type thing, not like my current NAS that has my media library, etc that is constantly being used.
It won't need to be anything crazy so Im thinking of a N100M and a HBA card. I should be able to put that together for about $150-170 and reuse the rest from other things lying around like RAM, boot drive, case, etc.
Is getting an N100M a stupid idea, its going to sit idle most of the time?

Yeah here is the connect instructions of the 3-phase type on the left side of the diagram
So you put in all three phases and the neutral and ground i dont know how it actually uses the power
But what I meant its not exactly same as just putting a wire that would be between two phases like L1 and L2 and that would be 400V
And normal usage between any phase and N is 230V
But if the panel takes all three phases and also neutral and ground, how does it actually combine it all
I'm not an electrician so i dont know

You do know that natural gas water heaters have existed for decades so instead of playing your retarded guessing games we can actually use FACTS its like you're fucking allergic to any actual facts and statistics all you got is some pajeet stories and rhetoric, you just make shit up as you go
Gas heater efficiency is ~0.7 so 30% of the power will indeed be lost to heating air instead of water, while electric is ~0.9 so only 10% will

>>
>>107612208
>It wouldn't be cause nobody would give a flying fuck about what the house circuit can actually handle
I understand your point but I guess that depends greatly on the country yeah obviously i wouldnt expect a place like albania do anything correctly
But in my home country the electric code is definitely followed in fact if an electrician deliberately skipped the code and pulled shit like that like put higher amp plugs in a circuit not designed to handle it, Im quite sure he would be criminally responsible for it so if accident happens not only would he be responsible for damages but if some serious accident happened a house burned or someone died he would probably be charged with criminal negligence and lose his electrician license

Actually I'm a toddlercon so most "pedos" that are actually hebephiles and into 12 year olds with thick thighs and training bras don't consider me really the same. The rest of the truepedos that like 3-9 but skew older usually seethe more since I understand and appreciate youthful beauty more than them and that makes them insecure

There doesn't seem to be a correlation between aphantasia or any sexuality as we currently understand. Aphantasia is present in females as well as males, while standard pedophilia is exclusive to the Y chromosome. Both are prevalent in about 4 percent of the population though which is funny

>>107607649
>I always knew you /int/ posters were mentally deficient and now I have confirmation of it.
Yeah aphantasia is literally where some parts of your brain don't light up on an MRI. I'm mentally circumsised but like an actually circumsized person my cope is that I don't know life any different. I don't think most "intelligent" people have aphantasia though, "visualizing" the math and it's connections is a common thing lots of mathematicians have described.
