i'll try to keep this short
keep in mind this is a cracked win 7 with a legit key, upgraded to win 10, then 11 and by all accounts M$ is cool with it

installed win 11 home by mistake on new PC, the bootable I made was win 11 pro

win 11 won't activate on new PC, can't change a product key because it's digital tied to my account

try to reinstall win 11 from USB and choose pro, but don't get the option and it just reinstalls home without giving me an option

how do i get this option select back
>>
>>107616152
And ei.cfg to your boot USB. Massgrave's blog has a guide on it.
>>
>>107616204
was able to install pro, thanks
still won't activate the digital license but i think it's because i have to remove this old PC from my account or something
software is the worst fucking part of new builds
>>
>>107616452
Might as well just activate it with MAS desu

let me know if you need any more advice.

By the end of 2026, there will be ~5,400 data centers being built or fully operational.

Each data center consumes as much energy as ~1,000,000 US households.

That would mean AI data centers will consume as much energy as nearly 1,000,000,000+ people, considering each household = 2-3 people.

Cost of electricity and hydro will cost 200-300% more by the end of 2026, since energy production in the US has remained stagnant for decades.

Is this sustainable?

Why doesn't openSUSE have a software store like Mint, Ubuntu and Fedora?
>>
>>107614823
They are far behind and they are too lazy to remove discover despite having it in the distro and telling users not to use it. You can find software through the yast software frontend or myrln now but it leaves a lot to be desired. They are suffering because they alienated active devs working on the project and it's amazing to watch them burn in real time

>Why is the software store down?
I use KDE which comes with Discover and it opens just fine and I can see programs and even update my system through it successfully. I have enabled Flatpaks though so maybe it can still be down and all I'm seeing are Flatpak offerings.
>>107614843
>remove discover despite having it in the distro and telling users not to use it
I never heard that, the one they talked about removing was YAST which is its own window in the settings. Are you confusing the two or is there talk about removing Discover?

WTF bros I installed the Trellis2 comfyui custom nodes and I get this shit when I try to load the workflow.

Also tried just clone the repo but they're using torch 2.6 which doesn't support Blackwell GPUS afaik (only goes up to CUDA 12.6) and when I try to just swap the Torch version in place I get errors :(
>>
>>107615851

If your on the newest version of comfyui, they kinda fucked everything up and tons of custom nodes and stuff don't work anymore and just give errors. I have a bunch I have tried to download, put in my custom node folder and they simply don't even show up like whats happening in yours.
>>
>>107615851

A few days ago I was lurking and an Anon had built something that takes image inputs and an optional prompt with instructions what to do with it and runs them through a vision LLM which then outputs a sloppy prompt to pipe into Z-Image.
Sadly I don't know when this was or which lineage of /ldg/ it was. If that Anon is still around, what vision model did you use? I want to try replicating this setup with stable-diffusion.cpp and llama.cpp.

Someone also posted an LLM prompt template for prompt enhancement.

But unironically.
Once you get the basics, everything will start to make sense.
>>
>>107616086
I started in the late 2000s with the K&R book, though I'm not sure what I'd recommend for something more Godot focused beyond OOP languages in general. Godot doesn't have a lot of tutorials but have you gone through what's there? I think it has some some scripting examples and trying to understand and modify those examples might be a decent place to start.
>>
Usually I only answer questions on these threads, but I actually have a question today:

What do you guys do when you have similar but still disparate subsystems that you see a way to integrate using abstractions, but aren't sure if it's even a good idea to do so; or even worse, when you see multiple ways to combine them, and you're not sure which to choose? (Right now I'm waffling between message passing and casting to interfaces with null checks. Dynamic designs always fuck with my perfectionism tendencies)

>perfectionism tendencies

>>

pretty sure the tech savvy just jump ship if they prevent as blockers.
firefox is only 5% of the browser market, why would they risk losing that
>>
>>107613684
If Firefox were to ever ditch the manifest v2 adblockers (ie, uBlock Origin, the real one), then its forks would need to do what Brave is currently doing and protect the mv2 code even though Chromium has gotten rid of it. That's a huge job that I don't think many (if any of them) are capable of doing, but I guess we will see.
If Mozilla decides to kill ad blockers then ad blocking becomes much harder to come by.

>if you can't read the manual then you should expect to do it wrong
I hate chatgpt with all my strength. I'm not anti AI, ML or LLM. What I am, is anti Scam Altman.
I remember one night I was too lazy to look through a manual or pdf for something and said fuck it, the bot can do it.
Gave the nvidiot the manual, the nvidiot said oh here's it's this! There's no bios password jumper, the battery is soldered you'll need this screwdriver.
I double take it, that sounds wrong. Go to do some stuff, get the driver, come back to it. Are you sure? Cite which page it's on. I'm sure it has a bios pwd jumper. The retarded nvidia hardware doubles down. I open the case. I look down. It's a T8 screw, the bios password jumper is staring me in the face, inches across the battery sits in a normal battery holder.
Even given a manual for a single item, it fucked it up.

Woulda been better off consulting with a magic 8 ball.
