If you're lucky, it's 80W if you add together all 3 outputs, which I still doubt will be the case, they probably are inflating the actual wattage numbers. That's not even a bad thing, because it'll get hot, so lower wattage means slightly less chance of a housefire or magic smoke.
If it were me I'd only get this if you plan on using it for low power draw devices, in which case it'll not matter much. If you plan to charge actually demanding stuff (phone, tablet, laptop), get something proper.

The amount of space it takes up compared to a simple SATA port. It could be fixed by installing them vertically on boards, but that still leaves them sticking out like expansion cards.
SATA is pretty good in terms of IO breakout flexibility, power delivered externally too.

The concept of the storage is kinda shit at a base level, only the bandwidth really redeems it. Add in the reality of the form factor and it's trash. Ironically SATA never had to conform to something like 2.5", 3.5" etc, it was just a connector, how they housed stuff was up to manufacturers. We still could have had memory sticks you plug in via cable, attached to motherboard in a different way.

There's still time to stop before we end up with IDE cables again.

We're now at the point where 2tb is expensive but affordable for mid level NVME but the price has only come down a small bit. Meanwhile HDDs come with larger capacities but only at the higher price points.

Obviously I could do this as a backup kinda thing and clone back to my primary, but would I be able to boot off the secondary? It occurs to me that I've never tried something like that, and it could be an easier way to shuffle things around if I want to fuck around with Linux memes and dual boot shenanigans and still have a quick and easy reset.
