4chan boards have too many pages.

4chan lost over a third of its traffic since 2022, yet the boards are still the same size.
This results in threads taking longer to slide off.
Which also results in a single schizo being able to keep ten threads alive with ease. He can even sleep for 8 hours and his schizo threads will still be there when he wakes up, ready to get bumped.

If you ever felt that 4chan only consists of a few schizos posting the same things 247, this is one of the reasons.

HOly fucking retard
It's literally the opposite. You can't make a fucking thread that's not a shitpost bait because it gets pruned within an hour

I'm not that interested in your notes for fixing 4chan, and Id imagine g00km00t is even less interested than I am.

Good luck with your 2 person imaginary redesign of how people should use the boards. You probably have an hour before a jannie comes in and nukes the thread, so get to work.
>>
>>107558707
we're allowed one meta thread per board per gookmoots own rules. To be clear I'm not criticizing the moderation since theres nothing they can do without grapeman enacting swift change, but at some point it needs to happen site wide.

>has lost over a third of its traffic
And this is a good thing an imageboard should not be like your retarded zoomer discord, faggot. It's only a great thing most of the pol tourists have migrated to somewhere else.
I believe that the recent UK internet age ban has affected this website a lot too.

Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.
1st rule of /csg/: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Retarded idea or no?
>>
>>107558600
If you mean the concept of a built in cable, it's been done before and works fine. If it breaks obviously you'll have a totally wrecked plug, unlike those where cable and plug are separate.
If you mean getting this specific listing, then that's probably a retarded idea. At that price point it's not going to be GaN (obviously) and probably not going to be 80W either.
If you're lucky, it's 80W if you add together all 3 outputs, which I still doubt will be the case, they probably are inflating the actual wattage numbers. That's not even a bad thing, because it'll get hot, so lower wattage means slightly less chance of a housefire or magic smoke.
If it were me I'd only get this if you plan on using it for low power draw devices, in which case it'll not matter much. If you plan to charge actually demanding stuff (phone, tablet, laptop), get something proper.

Foids are absolutely not attracted to sausage fest hobbies. Want to attract more of them? Have more handsome 6-ft tall, blue eyes, strong jaw, and manly hand programmers to be the face of programming, then you'll have more foids flock to this field. The positive of this is that there would be more foids in this field. The negative effect is that foids would be doing performative programming to attract gigachads. This would also make all the 2 incher pa/g/eets seethe endlessly because zero foids are actually interested in Loonix or any other meme OS (including LaurieWired) but on how to maximize their chances of able to do jumping jacks on Brad's thundercock

Default ublock blocks literally everything on the internet for me, so does just using brave browser.

But how the fuck do you block twitch ads?

Twitch must be spending an absolute fortune trying to stop adblockers because it's the only website that constantly bricks my adblocks.
>>
>>107557270
>But how the fuck do you block twitch ads?

>Navigate to the uBlock Origin Dashboard (the extension options)
>Under the My filters tab add twitch.tv##+js(twitch-videoad).
>Under the Settings tab, enable I am an advanced user, then click the cog that appears.
>Modify the value of userResourcesLocation from unset to the full url of the solution you wish to use (if a url is already in use, add a space after the existing url). e.g. userResourcesLocation https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions/master/vaft/vaft-ublock-origin.js
>To ensure uBlock Origin loads the script I recommend that you disable/enable the uBlock Origin extension (or restart your browser).

Stop making ads obnoxious, intrusive propaganda and maybe I'll consider not blocking them. I'll still block them of course, but I'll consider it.

We didn't know how good we had it with SATA SSDs. M.2/NVME is cheap shit that scales poorly and is inconvenient to access.

Nvme is pretty solid for large transfers
>>
>>107556439
You made me realise my fundamental problem with NVME.
The amount of space it takes up compared to a simple SATA port. It could be fixed by installing them vertically on boards, but that still leaves them sticking out like expansion cards.
SATA is pretty good in terms of IO breakout flexibility, power delivered externally too.

The concept of the storage is kinda shit at a base level, only the bandwidth really redeems it. Add in the reality of the form factor and it's trash. Ironically SATA never had to conform to something like 2.5", 3.5" etc, it was just a connector, how they housed stuff was up to manufacturers. We still could have had memory sticks you plug in via cable, attached to motherboard in a different way.

There's still time to stop before we end up with IDE cables again.
It's not too late.
>>
>>107558480
>SATA is pretty good in terms of IO breakout flexibility, power delivered externally too.
Bro, SATA is shit-tier for all of these items because of all backwards legacy crap.
NVMe is far superior to all of those aspects. You are confusing NVMe with M.2 port.
>>
Why has storage advancement been so shit for the last decade or so?

We're now at the point where 2tb is expensive but affordable for mid level NVME but the price has only come down a small bit. Meanwhile HDDs come with larger capacities but only at the higher price points.

This feels like a really basic thing but I don't think I've ever tried it before. I use little enough space on my primary SSD that I could just clone it onto my much smaller secondary SSD. Obviously I could do this as a backup kinda thing and clone back to my primary, but would I be able to boot off the secondary? It occurs to me that I've never tried something like that, and it could be an easier way to shuffle things around if I want to fuck around with Linux memes and dual boot shenanigans and still have a quick and easy reset.
