The Nokia N8 really was too based. It was my daily driver phone for 5 years.
The only reason I retired it was because Symbian died so there was no support for several apps I needed for work.

>I don't quite understand what you mean with deserialize
like the usual way save files, etc. are handled is
>create a class with all the relevant data you need for a map, save file, whatever, like MapData, then you establish that MapData class as serializable
>in C# that amounts to putting [System.Serializable] on top of the class name but in java it's probably different
>then you use some fuckery to convert it into a pure binary string (serializing it), and make a file out of it and put it in a directory
then later
>get file(s) in directory
>try to read all the string and try to deserialize it into MapData again
>read data out of the MapData class and use it in game

If you want to see some examples of what 60 fields per second look like there is a channel on youtube called Reely Interesting. This person preserves the motion clarity of the original tapes by uploading in 4k 60 frames per second.

https://youtu.be/gDMtKrPYVjs
>>
Is this the same homosexuality guy who thinks movies should be shot in 60FPS?
>>
>>107744953
I have no idea who you are talking about, and this is a completely separate topic. This is addressing hundreds of thousands of hours of television that have already been made in 60 fields per second, but are not being archived in a way to preserve that.
>>
>>107743592

proper deinterlacer uses previous field as if keyframe reference with motion prediction?
>>
The fact I've never heard of "fields per second" and I have little idea what OP is talking about leads me to believe that he may be onto something and I have been the victim of a con.

Hello Applicant,

This is a fucking E-Mail... to some dumb FUCK on who applied named "Anon". Now, I'm tired of this fat FUCK popping up in all of my fucking Applicant Tracking Systms when I'm looking for a FUCKING server janny! I don't give a FUCK about the aftermath of ANY of you Powershell fans that feel sorry for this greasy fuck!

You stupid fucking disgusting panty-line sniffing BLAWB, beer-drinking, CISCO-bathing. ball-gargling, pen-thieving, Steve Ballmer face having, Dr. Robotnik looking, Ramen eating, Welfare gorging, T-Rex arm having, Non-Dubai Chocolate eating, cook with a Coleman grill because the power been cut off, linux loader, nogame indie ""dev"", poorfag, pretending to have a fucking thyroid problem, Welfare Whale slash Free Willy, PArt bus, Yokohama Crackhead, busrider, Kirby, salad dodger, chair crusher, round meal, go to Safeway and use every fucking coupon, no driver's license, HAPPY because Enron is back in business motherfucker!

I know there's gonna be a lot of people out there calling me a bully, well guess what? I'm not! I just don't feel sorry for lazy fucking people, especially fat fucks who sit there all day, gorge and eat, and make no money because they've studied absolutely nothing! While a bunch of sorry fucks like yourself play into it!

You don't like what the fuck I'm saying?

Then FUCK YOU!

thats ragebait, the negativity is in the comments

you already know that for years now, big tech has been paying shills to shit-talk Linux and other FOSS projects
and with all the AI progress, most of the shilling is not done manually any more, it is mostly automated bots

so why not fight fire with fire?
why don't we set up something that scans internet for relevant discussions and automatically makes posts that promote Linux and digital freedom?

Not true, I don't even think FOSS is on their radar. Outside of servers and infrastructure no one in the professional world even thinks about FOSS. In fact based on Youtube comments I seen those sever sysadmin people refer to the Linux software community as hobbyist.

Don't buy anything OTHER THAN IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T, X, and W/P Series if you want the Real Business Experience™

>But how do you handle music?
The same way you handle graphics and input and filesystem operations and literally anything else in programming: you find an API you want to use that works on the platforms you want to run, and use it. For every individual question like this you have to search it and do some research. In this day and age you can also ask LLMs for advice (don't use them to write code though, if it's for a learning project).

If you really want a hint, look up SDL. It's one of many options for doing stuff but it's a relatively widely used one. What it does is abstract away some APIs for stuff like graphics, UI, platform-specific input management, sound etc. You can look up its APIs and use it.
SDL itself just uses lower level APIs from various platforms. For graphics that would be OpenGL, DirectX, Vulcan. For sound I don't know off the top of my head but there's similar shit. And so on and so forth. You can use those directly. Or you can use another toolkit, or a variety of toolkits.

>is it possible to learn electronics digitally, without hardware? are there any arduino emulators or something like that?

A large proportion on the code I've written for various controllers is there to deal with the vicissitudes of real world inputs.
