>There's obviously infinite more possibility that this produces something, than not doing it at all.
Is that "something" worth all the investment?
The biggest issue I have with AI is that it's expenses are increasingly running away from the revenue being brought in.
Just for AI companies to break even on current and future investments requires the most optimistic outcome.

This isn't just a few million to keep the lights on at a food delivery startup while they gather a base. This is billions and billions, economy disrupting billions.
All this shit needs to be clawed back at some point and I doubt the VC money can flow in forever.
Even now I'm only convinced nothing has happened yet because too many will be hurt when/if it does fail
>>
>>107838996
It's smoke and mirrors and everybody with two brain cells knows it is, but there's nothing else holding the states together. Look behind the curtain and multiple industries are in free fall. Big companies are running out of their pre-tariff back stock and are just coasting until midterms. If the tariffs are upheld buckle up.

>If I listen to a physical sound in real life it's going to sound different in my head than the next person who has a different head and ear shape and they are younger or older than me.
more or less wrong, that's the same with video, but calibration comes in to play and removes the change from individual to individual
not the same with headphones because the calibration has to take into account the subject variation
that's why speakers were solved 2 decades ago, the subject is removed from the calibration process
>>107839427
no, it's arguably worse
>>
>>107839410
The changes do not track the way changes from flat speakers track. It's not adapting to the anatomy, it's its own thing. The same headphone can be objectively bassy or not bassy to two different people, in-ear mics can compensate the difference. ANC headphones already try doing this, too bad they're bottlenecked by everything else. And pad compression can change the sound by 10dB - absolutely no excuse for this one.

>How do normalfags live like this?
they don't, they are npcs
>Every few months they have to update their list of no no words so they don't get canceled
its about fitting in with some retarded group more than anything. my step brother is like this, he will say chink but thinks nigger is the worst sin imaginable, every week he's insanely offended about something that has nothing to do with him
>It must be very stressful.
they have no souls, also known as no inner monologue, they aren't capable of feeling stress like a normal person, it's blind urges they respond to like a hungry rat
>>
>>107839484
Whats wrong about it?

>not the same with headphones because the calibration has to take into account the subject variation

Does a violinist take the individual into account? An artillery blast? The point of sound reproduction isn't necessarily to make people hear the same thing at the end of the chain in their brain, its usually to make them hear the same thing as if it were listening to the recorded subject in person with their own personal ears. Getting passed someone's personal ear shape doesn't make sense most of the time because they hear everything with that ear shape and their ear color everything they hear and defines what normal and natural sound is to them.

>that's why speakers were solved 2 decades ago, the subject is removed from the calibration process

So if you put measurement mics in peoples ears when you listen to speakers you don't get person to person variation? Is this the bottom line of what you meant to say?

Didn't Samsung also license the Wacom tech for their S-pens? Wonder if they're compatible.
>>
the standard is pretty much the ipad (pro) with the pencil followed by those dedicated portables like wacom movink or the chinese knockoffs from huion/xp pen etc, buy ones from last year to now only, older ones are bad
then samshit tablets with s-pen, mostly because lagdroid lol
avoid any microshit surface, garbage devices for this purpose and bad devices overall

I like both for different reasons. 4.7 is smarter and tends to stick to the prompt more closely. Often to an autistic degree which sometimes leads to issues with cards that aren't tightly written. 4.6 feels more flexible and creative out of the box.
But I've had a lot of success with 4.7 here as well after adjusting my older cards to cover for that.

This simple idea of having 2 USB-C ports CANNOT be done because it stops the zoomer from buying wireless ear buds(battery inside will always go to shit and unusable in ~3 years)

and you would be stuck using extremely affordable, high quality audio headphones or in ear buds(that are a bit too green for the planet in 2026)

also the 3.5mm headphone jack looks like a penis that goes inside a hole and basically why aren't you a wireless, constantly charging gay trans in 2026 right now.

am i finally getting it /g?

The Sovereign Tech Agency (Germany) funded $562,800 (half a million) worth of development on ALPM (Arch Linux Package Management) work. That work was focused, almost entirely, on creating “Rust libraries and tools” for Arch package management which “aims to maintain compatibility with pacman”. As of this moment, the Rust ALPM has not replaced Pacman entirely. But common sense would indicate that replacement is a goal (otherwise the heavily funded development would be nonsensical).

By the way, existing Arch package management tools (such as Pacman) are licensed under the GPL. The new, Rust-based libraries and replacements are licensed under the MIT license.

Older English literature used the em dash a lot more than now but still somewhat sparingly. You can write very effective sentences with it which no other punctuation can fill in. I think pre 1990s high schoolers actually learned how to use it. Now few learn it so they never use it. I actually see people use ellipses more when an em dash was what should have been used, because public education never gets around to finer points of grammar

I did something similar and picked up at AT&T CLP99387. It's still hooked up to the Obihai, but it also connects to my cell via Bluetooth for calls and contacts. If I get a call on either line, the cordless handsets ring. It's nice to be able to put the cell on the charger when you get home and not touch it until you leave.

I've learned a lot using AI to solve leetcode problems. It can show you what you're doing wrong in your solutions and give you an overview of the correct implementations. A lot of the times I can't solve a problem but it passes a few test cases it's because I have a typo, or a minor logic error in one part of the code, and AI is great at picking that up.
