Linux Mint 17 (Cinnamon) looked so much better than the modern slop versions
>>107654122And to answer my own question: it was DMZ-White. Linux Mint 17.3 only shipped with Adwaita, DMZ-Black and DMZ-White.
Thats mate and it still looks like this fuckhead
>>107654532No, it's Cinnamon.
Minor UI changes are fine, I'm glad they don't constantly rearrange the layout like everything else
>>107654547The minor UI changes stack up over the years, luckily you can revert such shit on Linux easily

Hello
Can I take my current raid 5 storage pool in truenas and change it to raid 0 while keeping the data intact?I need more space but really don't wanna have to start fresh and copy everything back.
>>107653946>he fell for the raid5/6 memeRAID 1 for redundancy, RAID 0 for speed. forget that anything else exists. unless you have a properly remote-managed raid storrage solutions with proper labeling, you will just destroy your RAID 5 or 6 on accident
>>107654440RAID 10
>>107654457true to some extend. harder to fuck up than raid 5/6
>>107654492Best of both of those worlds, but I'd only use it if I was restricted by hardware or software. I have gone the ZFS route at home.. Made by autists for autists.
>>107654440How do you fuck up your RAID 5/6?Also the main problem with RAID 5 is that it's basically a mathematical certainty that another disk will have an URE during rebuild and nuke your data if your array is big enough.

Some femboy anon posted a thread here last night talking about how tired he was of using windows 11 and linux mint wasnt working for him so he ended up swapping to windows 7.I didn't get to ask all the questions I wanted cause he disappeared and then the thread got deleted so I'll ask them here.1. I only have one of those shitty external optical drives since pc company's stopped being cool and removed them, that should work fine if i have the windows 7 ultimate dvd?2.When updating drivers they all say they wont be compatible, will it just be fine to download them and use them? if not where do I go for stuff like nvidia, amd, and other drivers I need?3. apps like steam and others that say they don't work on windows 7, how do I get them to work? i'm a bit confused on everything.I probably have a few more questions but I can't think of them right now and I have to get to work so I'll only be able to check this thread every now and then, thanks for any of the help
>>107653931I'm pretty sure he's joking Anon.
i also had problems with linux mint, it didnt recognize my monitor. but it did work with bazzite so maybe try that. its a linux distro intended for gaming, be careful however it might break your windows installation
