It's OpenBSD without the ideological autism. I highly recommend it.
>Journaling FFSv2ea that supports extended attributes and simple snapshots
>ZFS available too, if you deem it necessary. Not OpenZFS.
>Excellent in-house software: NVMM, NPF, pkgsrc
>In-kernel sound server straight from Solaris
>Supports Bluetooth, Nvidia with nouveau, WINE
>pkgin package manager is friendly and also fast like apt
Regarding security, it has ASLR, KASLR, SMAP/SMEP, PaX Segvguard, PIEs, Veriexec, kauth, among others.
The drawbacks are the worst consumer hardware support among all BSDs (except DragonFly and Midnight) and lower software availability. It has Chromium and Firefox though.

Everything in NetBSD has excellent code quality and documentation. You can literally start working on kernel hacking day one.

There is at least one feature that is unique to NetBSD: rumpkernels. It lets you reuse kernel modules in userspace. Thanks to rump kernels on netbsd mounting an external drive will be done in userspace with exactly the same code used in kernel space. Same could be done with drivers. This is a huge security improvement and I’m surprised openbsd didn’t adopt the technology

If you actually open up the source code for KurobaEx you will immediately understand that it's the best, most professional, well documented, and well thought out 4chan app ever made.

Everything about it is professionally done, it makes sense, theres documentation throughout the code, it looks like it was a labor of love rather than some hacked together garbage.

I sincrerely appreciate K1rkshenaou (probably butched kek) for his work. It's really just a good application, period.

Go open the source tree in Android Studio if you don't believe me, and actually appreciate the work that he has put into it.

The DOJ is apparently already in damage-control mode putting out tweets stating that you can have charges pressed against you for not just spreading the unredacted documents, but even doing the CTRL+C/V just to read them. Trying to dissuade as much people as possible from obtaining eyes on what's hidden under the black bars.

If this were an intentional act masquerading as a fuck-up, then it's probably not one orchestrated centrally by the Trump administration, but one of a few very brave colluding individuals wanting to get the word out to the world.

>Not as happy about the cable though, seems pretty proprietary
It's 4-pin mini (tiny) XLR, not hard to find the connectors and make your own cable, dunno about premade cables but there should be some.
>hopefully the one that it comes with works well enough
Well, yes, it's a cable. Nothing wrong with it unless you need/want a longer/shorter one.
>>
>>107651722
I'm curious why the XLR to begin with? I don't know much about the tech, is there some reason they made it that way instead of something more common?
>>
>>107651729
Dunno their reasoning exactly, but it's a robust connector and it's actually relatively common, at least in the "pro audio" market they're targeting. Maybe not for headphones, but again, the connector itself isn't difficult to find at all and widely available.

hello I passed here a year ago and then decided to buy audiotechnica ATH-M40x headphones as kind of a midrange budget choice, im back because they broke and with the warranty I got around 100€ to buy new ones but I see the audiotechnica are not listed anymore here

any buying advice? i want them closed, I listen mostly to music and videogamez, I got a steinberg IXO22, around 100€ budget, im a rym autist. I really want my headphones to be durable, not because I throw them around or anything like that but because im not really listening to flac audio files and I just know that most headphones are just fine.

Python, one of the very few modern & popular programming languages not owned by big tech, is now begging hard for money at python.org (picrel), Wikipedia style.

This comes after the PSF rejected an US government grant because the PSF can't stop shilling for DEI: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/10/28/211237/python-foundation-rejects-government-grant-over-dei-restrictions
The same PSF then reported a surge of new donators following the above rejection: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/11/09/2017240/python-foundation-donations-surge-after-rejecting-grant---but-sponsorships-still-needed
Yet, they are now begging for money, using a big, intrusive and cringe banner at python.org, kek.

This is what your donated money is used for: https://www.python.org/psf/grants
>Conferences (e.g. PyCon Italia)
>Event site subscriptions (Meetup.com) (e.g. London Django Meetup)
>Django Girls Workshops (e.g. Django Girls Busan Workshop)
>PyLadies Workshops (e.g. All Day PyLadies Workshop)

These faggots have a whole page dedicated to their DEI philosophy: https://www.python.org/community/diversity
Their Libera Chat #python IRC channel is filled to the brim with trannies (they/them and she/her pronouns set as their IRC name).

Probably. Regulations need to be reduced, pesticides that give you cancer increased. The lobby for the cheapest food possible is gigantic. The problem with automation is also that labor isn't the thing that is very scarce. Yet they are trying to increase efficiency of something that is a rather cheap good and with inflation of assets, labor is getting even cheaper relatively. In the current system labor is just always decreasing in price and value.

I use QubesOS with detached boot partition on 2 duplicated USB drives with any data that rests on the SSD/HDDs being encrypted with LUKS2. Whonix gateway is proxied through a VPN qube to hide Tor IPs (can't hide communication patterns) without bridges since bridge IPs can be farmed. Sometimes Tor through I2P outproxy or vice-versa or with different anonymizing network overlays. Clients used for browsing are only opened in on-RAM ephemeral qubes with no access to permanent storage. Attack surface is quite minimum since no extra things added like USB mouse and no PV qubes (aside from sys-usb and sys-net) are used for launching HVM qubes with qemu stub domains unless very necessary and every other qube on the system gets shut down first to keep information leakage minimum. A veracrypt volume with hidden storage on a permanent qube for data storage and plausible deniability.

what's your setup like?
