>Why there are no little improvements to 4chan's interface?
See >>107876643. I'm willing to be you're simply used to everything else changing all the time for no discernible reason.
>Does it cost too much to add little improvements to the website or what do you think is the reason?
Because it isn't necessary. Most websites and software change their UI all the time because designers need to justify their salary and constant tweaking is how they do so.
>>
>>107876643
I don't know little things like a gallery mode for images and videos threads, an option to scrolls te thread to the last post when you open it, that the thread remembers the last post you watch and it scrolls to that when you open it again, etc. Little things like that.
>>
Anyone familiar with calm window manger (cwm)?
I tried using gap in the cwmrc to create forbidden margin space but it's just not doing anything and the windows are still spawning over it, which feels wrong, other arts of the config seem to activate fine.
>gap 32 5 5 5
It's included with base OpenBSD so I assumed it would be faultless but this doesn't seem to function.

If your current onboard audio is bad (noisy, hissy, clicky, low volume) then a $5 USB soundcard will make a world of difference.
Otherwise you shouldn't bother, and especially avoid Creative stuff.

>>107875723
Read reviews for the specific models you are interested in and compare them.
The brand is not the most important factor, most laptops come out of the same 5-6 factories anyway (Quanta, Compal, Foxconn, ...).
Where manufacturers usually fuck up is specifying the wrong materials (disintegrating hinges, dying batteries) or the firmware (Asus gaming laptops have insane jerkiness).

It's so sad that we can't have things like this anymore and instead get RGB slop and glass panels. Imagine, how pleasant to have one giant 400mm fan spinning at a virtually silent 500RPM, which blew enormous amounts of cool air directly onto every single chip, component, and heatsink on the board, as well as your storage devices and PSU. Now we have to deal with 40mm chipset fans running at ludicrous RPMs and oversized fuckhuge expensive air coolers for the CPU.

Are there any signs of hope for true aircooling enthusiasts?

I finally built one. It started as a character RNN but I switched to tokens. It's pretty lightweight given its main function is to do some admin task in a bigger program it's embedded in as well as act as a knowledge repository with some reasoning components. Creating and parsing the training data from scratch was tough but rewarding. Getting the right patterns down with appropriate tags increased training success triplefold.
It's pretty addictive once the first one is done because it's super easy to make them modular and deployable which gives me a lot of ideas.

Because people are morons? If you want a tiny screen to play mobile games and watch movies on that's a little bigger than your phone, they're okay. If you want a standalone drawing tablet, there are a couple of recent models that are barely passable, but you'd still probably be better off just spending the extra money on a cintiq (pro only, Wacom have been quietly rebranding all their old pro stuff to low quality consumer level).
