2020 election night thread. i try not to think about it.
i get mad sometimes when i see pizzagate deniers. the fucked up shit these people must get up to is unreal.
>>

Again, that is not for-profit snuff. It's not even snuff (suicides happen but as far as I know they're not even recorded on video), and the motive is sadism, not profit (your 'pretty sure' is completely baseless). Also, 764 exists entirely on the clearnet, again showing how the clearnet is much more vile than any darknet.

Not necessarily, but going 'akshualy' about the terms and then being flat out wrong is plain tech illiteracy and implies he doesn't just not know the terms for the concepts, he doesn't understand the concepts themselves.

>the purpose of a system is what it does
what it does is let people dying of terminal diseases not suffer. anything else is a rounding error. and yes if you think otherwise you need to post stats to back it up.

>Want a browser that has enhanced security, less tracking
>Also want it to save my logins/settings/cookies
Both of these cannot be true at the same time right? I'd need to lean more into one than the other. Are Hardended Firefox and Ungoogled Chromium still the best choices? Not a fan of Brave or browsers that break every site I visit.
>>
>>107845118
A browser can be hardened and have anti-tracking features and also store your login credentials and cookies securely. Brave tries to be exactly this. (Chromium is designed for most of that job, but not the anti-tracking part. Brave modifies Chromium to fix that.)

But your instincts are right: it's a difficult engineering challenge. It's safer to keep your cookies and credentials out of your browser except for brief moments when you're logged into a website. So, for example, you could use a separate password manager and configure your browser to delete all stored data (history, cookies, cached images, etc.) each time you exit.
>>
>>107845229
Thanks I didn't think of that, it's a nice workaround. I suppose I could use a password manager on a portable browser for the full tin foil hat experience. I'm a Firefox used but have used others in the past. Might investigate Waterfox or Librefox

Corporations have a right to try and not go bankrupt.

If selling data helps them stay afloat and continue delivering a great product, is it really that bad? Your data is being collected and sold all over the web anyway, it's not like it matters.

Gnome is the best but only Ubuntu uses it well... and Ubuntu sucks. Fedora implementation of gnome is very bad. You guys know any good distros that uses gnome?

ubuntu is usable with flatpak. that's what I will keep using until Mint finally switches to Wayland.

Yeah snaps kinda destroy gaming for me but maybe there is a gnome distro with flatpak preinstalled, im currently on mint but i miss gnome

Fedora's implementation is bad because it's stock GNOME. That's how it's intended to work.

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

you're literally retarded, i don't have anything to prove to you, anyone who doesn't have severe cognitive defincies can figure these things out by themselves and by doing their own research. only literal retards like you can be involved with music production for years and still treat it like a complete mystery why some people are successful and some are not or just blame it on marketing and nepotism

again:
most normal people automatically understand that there is something special about the emotionally and culturally impactful, multi million dollar hit songs. they have no delusions about being able to make such music themselves. wannabe producers are generally quite stupid because they don't have this natural understanding and respect for the top artists and producers. you are one of those incredibly thick arrogant cunts. you're a complete garbage waste of oxygen.

if i posted audio you would completely fail to understand what's so good about it, you have most horrendous god awful music taste and dogishit inuition about what sounds good, you don't even accept that there are objectively positive qualities within the sound quality of songs that have hundreds of millions or billions of streams compared to literal whos

not optimal but if you need it this will have to do
slow, might fuck with airflow physically, might not fit in smaller cases, some MB requires specific brands and types of controllers, etc.

big get
double layer medical bags
makeup bag (for mom) and tool bag
double layer tech organisation bag and toiletry bag
8bitdo ultimate 2c and gamesir nova 2lite

all the bags are great though they stink a bit, need to air out

controllers are no contest in my eyes, saar has
better connection modes/compatibility (a lot of different ones you can pick)
better triggers (long travel and almost no deadzone)
better dpad (mechanical very clicky and accurate, apparently collaborated with a chinese big cheese kof player)
better software (at least on android where you can set deadzone a and create macros, no curves though, 8bitdos doesn't even have 2c in theirs at all)
8bitdo has... softer texture on the sticks I guess and a bit better latency (said to be one of the best, not sure how much of a difference that makes), nicer anti friction on the sticks. and I think you can bind L4 R4 like plain buttons but I'm not sure, i kinda packed it away already.
on the sir those back paddles only work for duplicating inputs or making macros, but the main chicken button can be blind as a button (except of you hold it long enough it turns the controller off, but for like 2-3 second holds its fine), there's also a screenshot button that you can't rebind, kinda odd. wish they just let you bind all of those.

they'll never stop making 2.5" SATA SSDs as long there are still working computers to put them in
