If you want a tablet and also want to draw, should you get an iPad or a Samsung tablet?
>>107828973I wish HDMI output wasn't a premium feature in tablets, it's the one thing stopping me from making a full switch from laptops, midrange tablets should have HDMI output too.
>>107829270>subscription shitno thanks, procreate is fine and a 1 time purchase. I own CSP on PC too and its unusable for illustration.
>>107854713I used apple when I was younger but I could barely do anything with it. It felt like having permanent child locks in place. I can actually download whatever I want on android, so I'm never going back to apple. Of course google's gonna be stupid and try to ruin APKs, but I have a feeling people will find a way to get around that soon enough. And even if not, android still has more freedom in that you can download mp3s/flacs without having to do a 20 step process to get itunes to recognize it first.
>>107828973Does anyone know of any Android tablet that still comes with Android Auto enabled? Apparently Samsung stopped support for it.A tablet data plan is just $15/mo and I always like keeping a tablet in my car. How else am I going to watch top gear compilations on YouTube while driving on the interstate AND have some helpful navigation on my car's screen?

whats the best mouse ever?
The g703, and it isn't even close. Ambidextrous mice are gay. It is shaped for the correct hand, it is lightweight, it has a good sensor, it has a good battery life, and despite it being high quality it is inexpensive.
>>107855340My IE3.0 is now completely dead
>>107858237fyi pulsar x3 is essentially this but half the weight and with better skates. Then again if you consider 100g lightweight you probably don't care.
the logitech office mice are almost perfect if it wasn't for that RUBBER FUCKING SHIT they coat them in that literally starts disintegrating a year or two inFor this reason I use g503's for work and play

Is it safe to admit that Deepseek, MiniMax and Qwen are the actually good AI models yet? Or are we still going to pretend that ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Claude count as "good" AI?

Deepseek is pretty good but not the best anymore.Qwen is the best small model (30b-a3b).But I think GLM-4.7 is the best overall model now. It came up with a solution to a coding problem which was significantly better than what Deepseek or GPT-5 came up with.Who knows, maybe Deepseek will release v4 and btfo everyone else, but it hasn't happened yet.
>>107855325Claude is pretty alright for tech/coding related shit. The rest are hot garbage at best.Haven't actually used the Chinese models since I'd rather locally host these days.
What do the owners of tri-folds use their phones for? Is it a decent tablet replacement?
>>107856464i've had the opportunity to use one. i really thought i would hate it. i went into it fully expecting to. as much as it pains me to admit it, they're actually really fucking cool. they're basically like an ipad mini when totally unfolded. good for watching videos or reading text. and it's still more or less usable as a normal phone when totally folded. the 2/3 fold is a meme use case that can basically be ignored

trifolds have no usecase, normal folds on the other hand are great for reading two page manga with a realistic seam

Vertical video is the norm now. All video is vertical now. People actively wish horizontal videos were vertical. They yearn for vertical video even when they're not circumstantially limited to it. A kid asked me to hold his phone and film him doing a trick at a skate park last week and when I held it in landscape mode he stopped me, took the phone, changed it to portrait and continued. Ten years ago vertical video was considered digital AIDS. It was to be avoided at all cost. Now it's the golden standard.
