what did flatpak mean by this?

It's pythonic

Drivers in userspace, sandboxed at that, sounds really dumb to me.
>>
>>106543101
I means that different packages are using different versions of dependencies, blame those maintainers for not being up to date. Windows does this for every program.
>>
>>106543101
sometimes flatpak is the only choice, honestly appimages are just not intuitive fo me, i don't understand how it makes sense to just place an .appimage somewhere and run it as an appkication, with 0 integration. apt / packages are always the best, but appimages are
>>
>>106543343
..appimages are just so, less than basic, don't see any point in them unless you have 0 alternative and need only funcionality

Stop your DistroHopping with Fedora KDE.
Fedora is as Solid as Debian and as Updated as Arch.
Purist Software, Minimal Vanilla Latest Tech Stack , No Bloat 2GB ISO.
Rolling Edge, btrfs, Wayland, Flatpak based, SELinux Secured, No weird bugs as everything is stock barebones.
Corp based, DNF is faster than APT now, No Proprietary Software.
Fedora is free as in OpenSource, not FOSS.
This OS is used by Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Cloud...
No need to install gimmicky Niche OS used by femboys with long socks.
Ubuntu and Mint are piggybacks of Debian.
Fedora is the only Upstream.
You get updates firsthand.
Devs, DevOps, Engineers use it.
Linus Himself uses it.
RHCA is a prominent Linux Cert.
Why not use something Linux Engineers use?

>30% of Microsoft code is written by AI

>"I'd say maybe 20%, 30% of the code that is inside of our repos today and some of our projects are probably all written by software,"

>Google CEO Sundar Pichai in October said that more than 25% of new code was written by AI. Earlier this month, Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke told employees that they will have to prove AI cannot do a job before asking for more headcount. Similarly, Duolingo CEO Luis von Ahn on Monday announced in a memo that the language-teaching company will gradually turn to AI in lieu of human contractors.

Is this true?

It's going to be very funny in a few years when they rewrite the windows kernel with AI and none of the ancient boomers who actually understood a fraction of it are around to bail them out.

At least the zoomers will stop becoming programmers and/or AI rot their brain so much that they're useless and never learned their craft. Well possible that the old man they laughed at will save their lives with a single bash command!

- chrome: jewgle spyware, objectively the best one in performance and optimization, unfortunately still unusable because of poor adblocking solutions, its android app doesn't even support extensions.

- brave: bad attempt at making chrome usable, good adblocker (not perfect) but filled with crypto and other useless bloat, full of bugs that make it unusable like logging you out of every account every day. At least their CEO is based and their logo is cool.

- firefox: sold it soul to jewgle but still has uncomparable worse performance, sad since it could be the only usable one with the best adblockers also on their android app.

- vivaldi: attempt at making chink opera usable, by doing what? filling it with so much useless bloat to the point of it having more features than an operating system?

- safari, edge, and schizo browsers like librewolf waterfox and pale moon: never used never will.

Grow up.
>>
>>106539944
Because web standards are designed by ad companies and government to take your freedom away. It's impossible to make a good browser, and that's the intent. If we had rational standards that could be implemented without massive funding, they would have no pretext to put their hooks in every browser org.
>>
>>106540277
Eventually you have to and find a reliable, optimised and, clearly ~95% proven best - open source software. The entire microsoft ""Ecosystem"" is piles of piles of unrecognizeable chuncks of mostly obsolete code hacked together to create a behemoth that is so heavy on hardware that it will very very soon serve no more purpose.

Should I actually install Linux Mint? Let me start by saying that I stand with Ukraine and Israel, which is very important to me while choosing a distro. I've heard there was a post from main developer of Mint saying "free palestine" but he seems to have backpedalled on that statement. It still gives me the ick but I can manage. Would there be another distro that supports my core political values? Fedora KDE, perhaps?

which payment method for point of sale transactions do you think is best, considering privacy, anonymity, security and ease of use?

big tech / apple pay seems less private, however the use of virtual card numbers and tokenization seems like it would help leak less information to merchants

cards are a similar story, but using a credit card might be better in terms of security in case it is lost or stolen

cash is obviously anonymous, but many stores no longer accept it and it is also easy to lose, get stolen or scammed by the indian worker who cant do math and charges you extra

obviously nothing will beat monero xmr, however i dont think your local goyslop merchant is going to be accepting this any time soon

What dystopian shithole requires you to pay first for gas?
I use an app anyway
>open app

Super fast. There is a physical card only place near me but it's fucking retarded prepay bullshit
>enter or tap card

>pump gas
>leave
If your tank is full and you selected more money it takes 10 business days to get your cash back.

This is just so they know how much to pre-charge you so brokies don't drink the gas and leave

Around me you can just skip that prompt and it'll pre auth $250 which is auto refunded to the card within the day so it doesn't matter

And some pad swaps. Changing the pads turns this from one of the worst tuned STAX headphones to one of the best. It's weird the stock pads are so shit and notably much worse than the original 007 pads. Something must have gone horribly wrong in the development process. Unfortunately I only have 1 pad for all of these except the Ori (?) pads, so I couldn't actually listen to them but the Ori (?) pads sound pretty good. It totally fixes the 1.5K suckout and smooths out the treble. There's still an 11K spike but one EQ filter is enough to get rid of that.
